IIRC, I think you also need to speak to speak to her in the office at the lab in the morning, it's through the door next to where she's sitting.
You can also try speaking to her in the living room

I've come to where Valery's on vacation and cleared the air with her, but, with the exception of accidentally catching her in the bath, I can't seem to make any headway with her. Also, how and when is Lucy supposed to show up?
Check the guide, that should give you a good idea of what to do next, sometimes you have do someone else's quest before you can move on
With Valery, make sure to check the kitchen in the morning, Living room in the afternoon, bedroom in evening and night, and I believe the bathroom at noon
