No, you just have to right click > open with > winrar.

it sounds like the steam version still got an update now!

The translation has been revised (over 1500 changes have been made throughout the game since our last update).
Several CGs with text have been translated.

Besides a boatload of QoL features, they seem to have fixed the translation and added translated cgs as well.

The developers, Key, don't do adult games anymore. The first 2, Kanon and Air had adult content. Clannad didn't but the spin off Tomoyo After did. Planetarian didn't. Little Busters! originally didn't but the Ecstasy expansion added adult content on all routes and the spin off Kud Wafter had adult content as well. And that was the last one as from this game Rewrite onwards, Key only does all ages games.

why cant i launch it, when i try this happens

No matter what I do, I can't seem to unlock achievement 31, which is unlocked by finishing the game. The achievements are required for one of the endings. I just get the an error message similar (maybe identical) to the poster above me whenever I finish a route, and I get the same message dozens of times whenever I open the "memories" page.

Does anyone know a fix?
