This is an issue in general with the nature of what this game is. Since I'm not in control of the story (Ferdafs is) it's... challenging to advance some aspects of it. Some of it I think works really well, and some of it works just "okay".

Beth for example has sort of reached her primary character goal (in the Renpy game) with her accepting the relationship she has with Morty. For the water park, much of her resistance dialogue was shifted from "We shouldn't be doing this because we're family" to "we shouldn't be doing this because we can't get caught in public". And some other dialogue is also getting tightened up/re-worked after the upcoming talk with her in the next update.

I still have to work within what I get from Ferdafs, but one of the many things getting talked about behind the scenes is how to move characters forward and keep them engaging, even when a story finished for them. It is a very tricky task to plan where to go next, when we have no idea what the next step in the story is going to be.

I think Ferdafs did an AMAZING job with Tricia, who, again shows up for less than a minute of screen time across all the episodes she appears in. She feels like a character that just fits into the game world (and the show world) but has actual character to her. I'm sure we'll get more of her going forward as she is certainly a main girl and a fan favorite.

We just have to wait an see what Ferdafs does with it. I try not to make plans/write story around future plots when I can avoid it.

Mainly, I'm not an artist. Additional scenes I've added tend to use repurposed artwork, or existing standing models. She just has the one scene which would make it difficult to create anything new/different for her.

The other big strike is that I don't really enjoy side characters as much. New scenes are a LOT of extra design time and if I'm going to work on them, they need to be for a character I enjoy.

So, I unfortunately think this is one outside of my ability to do.

Speaking of repurposed artwork. I have been messing around with some of eropharohs old games. summer's birthday and rick+beth. Have you ever tried porting old swf games to Ren'Py?

This is the only game I've ever tried moving from one engine into another (and it was a fuck ton of work since it was pretty much a rebuild of the whole thing). While asset recovery from Flash isn't too bad (there are few tools out there that can do it), I would think the animations would be a nightmare to bring over.

Flash had animations built right into the tool. Renpy, as cool as it is, doesn't really have an animation interface. Yeah, it certainly can do animations, but they have to be done by hand in code using ATL (animation transform language). You'll notice that this game just uses movies for the animations, because trying to rebuild them in Renpy would be an immense project.

Edit:
A quick google search did turn up software that claims it can port Flash to Renpy. Called "Flash to Ren'py Exporter" (drop that into your google search bar and it's the first result). It's over on sourceforge and I have not given it a try so I cannot vouch for how good/bad it is.

I got the assets by using JPEXS flash decompiler, then realized I had no idea what to do with them. So instead I used it to remove the backgrounds, then recorded the animations and then export them in resolve with just the alpha channel. Now I can reuse the animations anywhere. Adobe Animate is the best swf player, you have to manually choose it in "open with" context menu. Something about how it renders in fullscreen makes it 10x better than anything else.

There's not much left for Summer to do if it's just her. I don't think Morty has cum inside her yet in the main game. So I suppose there's still that. But I feel for Beth Summer and Mortisha it's time to start doing threesomes. And not with alternate versions of eachother.

On the individual route, most of the bases have been covered. I would like to see a bit more of each, especially the main characters, i.e. Beth, Summers, Morticia, ... and Tricia (who I think IS now one of the main characters), but, as you say, the story is ripe and ready for lots of fun threesomes (or moresomes), and I really hope Ferdafs agrees. If not, "we" in the R&M Another Way Home community will have to come up with our own. :whistle:

I saw a clip, that was surprisingly similar to the Beth Chud scene. It's a bit like rule 34, if someone can imagine it, then someone else has probably tried it. I even saw a clip on PornHub of a young woman playing with a horse dildo, and she managed to take most of it.

But yea, I'm not really looking for more Chud stuff. My most hoped for threesomes would be ... Morty, Beth, Summer. Or perhaps Morty, Beth, Tricia. I'd be happy with any though, especially with the main cast, including the Summers, Morticia, and maybe even space Beth.
