Ragrding requests, i saw that the last ones were put in the november of previous year and i want to ask how they will be incorporated into the main story or they will be simply random scene that doesn't affect anything and exist solely for the gallery?
It is stated in the first spoiler tag in the post, but, the
request list is just a public list of all the things that have been asked for in this thread (so that I (and others) don't have to re-read 90+ pages). It doesn't mean anything on the list will be added into the game. It isn't a promise to add content as described or at all. It's just my notes for things that have been asked for in this thread and that I think could possibly fit somewhere (that's what she said).
The request list hasn't been updated for a while for a few reasons:
First, no one has asked for anything new that I think fits with the game... or I've missed them asking for it. I do try my best to catch them all (pokemon), but I'm only human (as far as you know) and I do miss posts sometimes. So, if you (anyone) are reading this and don't see something you asked for in the list, let me know. Again, it doesn't mean it will go into the game (see details literally in this post I'm typing now, or the request post itself), but it also might go in at some point (that's what she said).
Second, new extra things only get worked on when I feel like adding them or I think they are a good fit for the current content. The closer the request is to something that already exists and the easier the edit work is, the more likely it is to be added. This is a free project, I'm only going to make the things I have fun working on.
Thirdly, as I've said a number of times, I'm not an artist. Making "new" content (which is what many request (understandably) usually are) just isn't something I'm very good at. I think most of what I've managed to edit in is passible, but I've tried for years to improve my art, and put simply, I'm not getting better at it. (heck, I barely want to work on my own extra scenes (that require new art) let alone other peoples).
And finally, I just haven't been super motivated to do much of anything (on any project) outside of work.
I'm mostly just waiting for the next update at this point, and going forward I sort expect that to be the norm. The plan was always just to keep up with new content, not to constantly make my own. Community interaction has really driven me in past updates to do WAY more than I ever planned. And it may be the case again in the future, but, not at the moment.
