Is there any news on when the next update will be? It's currently 2 am and I don't feel like reading through everything. Thank you in advance.
This post from strenif is the latest info Ferdafs has shared, and it is lacking even a guesstimate date, which isn't a great sign. My original guess was the first part of this month (March), as that falls into the 3 month content cycle we've been getting recently. But... I would be surprised if it arrives before April... I'm very ready to work on it, but I don't release new renpy versions without new unity content (because there would be nothing new in it).

I don't like having to wait so long between updates either (I think more than two months really hurts peoples interest in it), but that is the nature of this project. I'm not in control of the content creation side at all. The only updates I have any power over are my own, and that will, once again, most likely be within a week of the Unity release, with daily progress updates.

If you have never played the original I do honestly think it is worth a look (since it's 'free' here anyhow). While I have stated my dislike of the wandering mechanics (and lack of text skip (and difficulty to replay scenes (and no way to save mid scene (and no way to roll back (and numerous bugged scenes))))) in that game, the first time through they can be enjoyable (again, I liked it enough to remake the whole thing (or I'm just crazy and hate myself)). A lot of why this game even exists is because Ferdafs did such a good job with some aspects of the game (and... a less good job with other parts (and no, this version isn't perfect either, but I feel it at least fixes many of the issues in the original)).

Also some dialog and characters are different, so you may (or may not) enjoy the Unity version more (Morticia is almost a completely different character here than she is in the original). Morty is more of a push over in the Unity version, and while his original attitude does slip through into this game I have tried very hard to reduce it (to mixed results).

Once the update is out for the Unity version (hopefully soon), I will do regular daily postings about my progress on it (similar to what I did for the last patch).

Anyhow, glad you are enjoying the renpy version! And if you do decide to try the Unity version, I hope you enjoy that too!
I played a lot of h-games over the years, and what you've done for this game with your modifications have uplifted the game to my top 3, you have done such a good job in fact, that you have gone above Something Unlimited in my personal ranking. So thank you for your work.

Awww, thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying it! I was pretty hesitant to share this game to be honest. I originally just set out to make it for myself and wasn't sure how well this idea was going to land for other people. And, while not everyone likes it (i.e. the nature of all things), it does make me happy to see others enjoying it!

No, no, I'm joking. I wouldn't make you search it out... or would I?...

(No I won't, I'm not a monster...) There are two main reasons I've chosen this over my own project:

First, my art skills just really aren't that good. I'm passable with editing existing art, but I just can't make stuff from scratch (that doesn't look like hot garbage). I've been trying to improve my drawing ability for most of my life and it's just... so-so. I'm not an artist. I can write, I can code, but I just can't really draw.

And, I'm not that interested in DAZ or other 3D models for characters. They can be okay but there is just SO many of those, that even my favorites tend to all blend into each other (plus, turns out that I'm not great at using DAZ either...). And, while not impossible that I could work with an artist, there are a plethora of challenges there too, many of which I don't want to take on.

The second reason is: time. This project has been one of passion for me, a fun hobby to pursue when I feel like it (or an update comes around). But, if I made my own game, well, I'd have to devote a LOT more time to it (or updates would never happen) and then it's just another job I have to do.

So... short answer (too late), it's not impossible I might one day embark upon my own project, or team up with someone to make something else, but, for the time being, this game enough action for me.

Slightly relevant question: if you did hypothetically make your own game (assuming you were blessed with infinite time and creative talent), what would it be about?

Well, if I could make much better art there are a LOT of scenes I want to add into this game. But, outside of this project, I actually have two games I would love to make if it was within my ability to do so. One I actually did start a bit of (back in this post, you can see a screen shot from it) and that would be a Gravity Falls game. While that game was never meant to be more than a few scenes, I do think it would be a fun universe to play with.

The other game I've thought about (and done a small amount of writing for (but no actual production on)) is a non-parody setting that deals with your future daughter traveling back in time to save your life (and then do other stuff...). The 'gimmick' of the game is that while she is your first daughter to arrive, she isn't the last. Each time you *ahem* finish with a new girl, a future offspring joins the cast.

I've worked out most of the cast, the general plot, and a few major story points I want to tell, and I think it could be fun.

Wow back to the future and Gravity Falls. I somehow expected Gravity Falls since I could feel the quality emanating from the Morty & Mortica scene in the Halloween event (and also it's the most memorable scene for me), but back to the future? Heh You got taste and I'm all the happier for it. I hope you get a chance to make your ideas a reality one day.

Rick and Morty is originally based on a satire of Back to the Future by Justin Roiland called The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti, so Back to the Future jokes aren't all that unexpected.

Night Mirror Feliz Navidad, it's been a while. I haven't been able to make any progress on the BallFondlers scene for a few months sadly, but I was able to get a little bit done recently. Nothing really noteworthy (hands... and 1 foot : p) but I'm working on it slowly but bumpily.

So anyway. . . I have a few requests boop.

A little late, but a while back when I updated to r3.4 when you added the hug art I did, I noticed the image quality dropped quite a bit from the originals I made. I know that it's to reduce file size which I appreciate, but I think it was a little bit too much so I adjusted it a bit. I made new ones that are 90% lossy webps which I think definitely look better, but they're almost double the file size they currently are in the patch. To mitigate that a bit, I sliced some of them so now in total the file size of the new images is very slightly smaller (pretty much the same). However, since I sliced some of the images, I needed to rewrite some scripts so sorry if you made any changes to them recently. Wait, actually one of them is a lossless webp, not 90% lossy (Morticia first kiss) because I noticed you didn't compress that one so I just converted it to webp (saved 205KB on that image). Anyway, I hope you'll consider using the newer versions I made.

Yeah... I'm honestly more lazy than I should be with the compression step. I should evaluate each image individually and specifically select it's compression and such... but also... that feels like a LOT of extra work that is only going to impact a few images. That being said, if anyone does spot a particularly bad image, let me know and I'll give it a more focus compression than just the blanket "make it small" I did to the whole thing (also, I do intent to slice the majority of the game for 3.6 (I should of have done it for 3.5, but 1, lazy, and 2, I didn't think it was going to be so long before the next version), so that will make it much smaller with less detail loss).

New hug art/code inserted (that's what she said) and will bypass the compression step with the next release (for both the full game and update only patch). Also removed the dissolve on day 12, I agree it looks better like that.

I'll see wut I can do about the drinking references at the party, but it is a pretty big aspect of the event, so I'm not sure I can really reduce it. Beside, they aren't pregnant yet (that you know of...)

Thanks for the offer! I may take you up on it in the next, next, update round (in like... July?). I'm currently using YAC and just setting really, really low for everything with minimal customization. Again with the next, next (3.6) update, I intend to slice the whole game and will have to redo the compression process again (or, I may not need compression after slicing, I'm not sure yet), but I'll give you a shout out.

It actually has been surprising (in a good way) the number of people that have stepped forward to contribute to this project (both art and other suggestions). It would be great if I could find a dedicated artist to collab with that wanted/has the time to help (for free) put together some of the scenes I want to slip in (that's what she said). And I may one day hunt for such a person (if one doesn't fall magically into my lap).

For example, there are two scenes I wanted to work in for the next update, but I've had a lot of difficulty drawing anything I don't think looks like crap. At the moment, they are little more than text and slapped together art to get poses. But it would be nice to be able to do a bit more...

Thanks for checking in! Doing as well as I ever am, but very much ready to start work on the next update. It's been a bit too long for me sine I really dove into this project and I've been itching to get back to it!

Sadly there won't be anywhere near as many extras as previous versions have had (r3.4 was positively huge!). Unless I can wrangle a good artist to help on this project, the creation of new scenes is just something I'm constantly not satisfied with.

At the moment there are only two extra scenes I want to work into r3.5 (possibly more stuff once I see the new content), but there is a big asterisks on those scenes. I have been trying (and failing) to draw them for more than a month now and just haven't been happy with any of the art I've produced for them. I'm honestly not sure if they will get done (/make art I don't look and instantly hate) at this point, but neither are critical additions so... maybe? They can always go into the next, next update...

I did also have a new feature I wanted to put in as well, the next iteration of the Do Over Menu, but after a lot of wasted time on it, I was just never happy with any of the new layouts. I still feel like it is something I want to work in at some point, but again it isn't a major need yet.

So, short version... not a lot new from me this time around beyond my usual tampering with the new content. But that was always meant to be the plan, and I just sort of stumbled into adding WAY more stuff than I had originally thought I would.

Anyhow, thanks again for asking how I am, I do hope/think the next update should be less stressful. I just hope it really is soon and not next month :/

Can't wait for the next part to come out. I hope that there or maybe someday:
1) at least through conversations, the topic of pregnancy is further discussed.
2 ) And a sex scene with Summer, where she says, just like Beth, that she would also agree to getting pregnant.

Just as ideas for existing scenes:
1) For the Zoo Breeding scene, in addition to the Skip, Cum, and Convince her choices, you could add a Rape scene to it.
2) For the Snuggles scene with Beth in the morning, an additional method of selection would be nice here as well. Namely a vaginal scene (rape) with at the end of course the choice between inside and outside. Just like with the Sleep Molest Scene.

Night Mirror is not the maker of the game, he is for the most part porting it maybe adding some stuff here or there where its not difficult, adding pregnancy would be most likely a difficult thing for him
Here is a link to the main forum where the game is, if you really want it pregnancy, support and ask him for it, that's probably your best chance, or wait as he probably will add it eventually but who knows how long that's going to take
