I'ma guess "very unlikely" that there will be a plot line with a female Morty, because... uh, of us. Not us specifically in this thread, but the erotic, family focused, fans of the show. Down that path lies only porn.
As if it didnt start as Mharty sucking on Docs balls, and a bald guy shoving his head into a vagina to prove a point that they dont give a shit.

i'd say there's certainly some lewd stuff in the show already, but well under the radar. like that 'inception' episode and Gwen etc. that's more than just faint pointers imo.

If you trying to use the Update Only patch, and having issues, I instead recommend downloading the whole game from one of the main links. Then it is just an unpack, and run, vs trying to merge. It is a bit bigger (1gb vs 40mbs), but there is less room for errors.
I just installed it and have no idea how to open it, like ive bee searching for two hours how and i cant, how do i open and play it, do i need to install something? All i did was download the mega file on my laptop.

I'm going to assume you're on Windows, if you're on Mac or Linux, Google how to play renpy games there.

  1. Download the full game from the link in post #1 labeled as Windows/Linux. It should be around 1gb in size, and packed in a .zip
  2. Unzip the full contents into a folder of your choice or onto the desktop.
  3. Click into the RMAWH_r4.1_pc folder, double clock the .exe file to launch.
You shouldn't need to install anything extra, as all the files needed to play are included. It's just a standard renpy game, there is nothing special to launch it. If you're still having trouble, googling how to play a renpy game is your next step.

Season 8 was more like... "sexual shit in your face". I feel like the team behind it knows and enjoys rick and morty adult games lol.

Status Report July 2025:
As we close out July, it is once again time for a status report on the state of the game (well... mainly just the epilogue). This time around, I have actual progress to share, but don't get too excited.

I have, at long (long, long) last, reached a completed first draft of the epilogue script. For the amount of time I've spent working on the script, it doesn't feel as long (or as good) as I want it to be (just a bit over 800 lines). It has been a struggle for me to even get it to where it is. As things move forward with implementation, I'm sure I'll add on to it (or cut it back as I fail on the artwork...), but the overall core isn't likely to change too much at this point.

I know it's been really (really, really) slow. As I've previously said, I'd like it to be faster too (for it to be done already), but it is what I can manage. July was a very busy month for me, and I just haven't had a lot of free time for much of anything (and making time for the epilogue specifically hasn't exactly been top of my list).

So, what's next? The next major milestone is blocking. That is putting in (but not posing (giving them facial expressions)) all the character sprites, and making many of the (very, very) rough images the epilogue will need. I don't yet have an approximation of how many things I need to draw (but it's a lot), and I'm still not sure if I'm going to attempt any animations or not (there are none in the game I can adapt).

During blocking I should get a better idea of how many of what images I'll need to draw and/or what script changes I need to make for things I can't "draw". I don't expect blocking to go a lot faster, but I'm hoping it will outpace the writing struggle I've had.

When can you, the player, expect it? I still don't have a release date outside of the deeply unsatisfying "sometime this year". I can say it is very, very unlikely to be next month (so much art I have to make), but it's not impossible for it to be released in two or three months (again, if I can get myself to do it). If we got another Ferdafs update in Sept, there is a very small possibility it could go into that... Don't hold your breath.

Thanks for all your patience on this. Again, sorry it's taking so damn long.

Anyhow... thanks for being awesome!

take your time, as is, the game is playable to an end (sort of) already, so not sweating it.
also, if Ferdafs doesn't just add to the existing, chance is there that your mod might require some changes to the existing, in order to match whatever comes new. might work with the 'rubber band' end being movable, but will require yet more coding to fit it in, so yea.

best to keep rule #1 in focus: real life first.

I think community can help u in drawing, If I know how to make that art I would have helped u.
you can setup a small discord server for that and ask if someone wants to help you out join the server

If that were true, the epilogue would be done... (and the game would have sound, and I'd be making loads of additional scenes (and about a dozen other things I want in the game)). Still, thank you for the praise, I'll take it where I can get it :D

I'll answer this in two parts:

1. I don't want to deal with the extra headache of moderating and maintaining a discord server. My primary posting site if f95 for a reason (in that I have to do no moderation on it). Even small severs can be~ problematic. Plus, I just don't really like discord.

2. I haven't had very good luck with people "helping" me with art. The contributions have been great (with people giving me completed elements to add to the game if I want), but the collaborations have been... less good. Out of the many (many) people that have reached out to work on this project with me, only a very few have followed through.

While never impossible I could find an artist that can match the style I need, have the time to make the art (and not take away from their own projects), and is willing to do it all for free, is unlikely. I've been down this road a bunch. And each failure makes me less open to it.

The most frustrating part of it is that, almost all of my interactions have ended much the same way. Things are going well, we're making progress, then the person just stops responding. No, "this isn't working" or "I don't have the time" or anything, just abrupt silence, again and again. (and I've spent hours re-re-reading posts to see what (if anything) I said to make them go. Questioning if I pushed them away, or they simply lost interest (I mean, it keeps fucking happening so clearly, "I" must be the problem, right...))

It has been extremely disheartening for me to devote a bunch of time into collabs only to have so many people simply vanish without so much as a goodbye. I try to make it very clear that if things aren't working, it's 100% fine for them to tell me they are done. I won't be mad, no matter how much time I've sunk into something. Just, tell me. But almost fucking no one even bothers with that, they completely stop replying. One day it's: "I can't wait to show you this cool new thing, Night Mirror!" then... never another post, just gone. Leaving me wondering what happened.

So~ the short version is: no. I don't have an interest in finding an artist to help with the epilogue. I may hate drawing, with all my heart and soul (okay, that's not true, it is sometimes enjoyable. I'm just not good at it, so it's always a struggle), but I'm tired of being abandoned over and over. I'd rather just push through it myself, slow though it is...

feel ya on the discord dislike, also the extra efforts of maintaining whichever type of channel/server whatever, one gets lost in let's call it 'virtual paperwork' within a matter of moments.
with them artists.
a wild guess, some of those came to you with 'this great idea' they probly had worked on some weeks before first contacting you. then that piece of art is handled, and likely that was the one idea that fellow had in mind, and now that shot fired and nothing left. now how to muster courage to tell you 'soribru that was all i had'?
not easy to work on demand, and artists who can aren't likely going to give it for free, when it comes down to volume production past a sample.
so there's that one option left, you do it yourself, and since as you said you're not good at it, it does take time. i imagine you start with something and have to correct and adjust, for hours on end.
picturing a desk almost entirely covered in crumpled paper, with some dude in the middle chewing on a pen while ripping out his hair. maybe not too far off..
then you come back to the forum and are maybe greeted with QQ WAI NO UPDAET!!1 imo just skip those.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think Ferdafs wrote a very entertaining story with some great art, but wrapped it in a game that is~ challenging for most players to really enjoy.

One of the main reasons I ended up sharing this project at all, was I thought more people should have the chance to enjoy what Ferdafs made. I tried my best to make this game as accessible as possible (much to the dismay of some players who want extra hurdles (gameplay) to jump through). But, I can't please everyone, I can only pleasure myself... wait...

Why so many saves? I mean, play the way you want to, obviously. But with Scene Selection, Mind Blowers (Replay), and Do Over, I'm curious as to why the need for so many? (I have a bunch too, but those are specifically for testing things between updates.)

Save stuff is all under the Renpy engine, I don't have very much control over how that works (I mean, I could build my own implementation for it, but I don't think I could do it better).

I hope my code helps others. That's one of the many reasons I left the script files out in the open, so that people could explore, modify, or reuse the code in this game. I really enjoy tampering with code in other people's games, and sometimes, I even share those tamperings.

Something I really love about renpy (and python in general) is how easy it is to modify it to your liking (and find myself frustrated when playing in other engines where I can't change things (guess I'll just have to fucking remake those games in renpy too! (no not really, please don't request more Unity (or other engine) game ports...))).

Among my favorite UI elements that are... 'unique' feels too strong a word, I'll say, things I haven't seen other games do (that, admittedly, encourages even less "gameplay") is AutoMenu. One of the (many, many, many) things that bug me in visual novels are single choice options. One button, to do some action, to advance text. That drives me crazy! A button to advance text already exists! It's the normal click (or space (or ctrl if you're bored (or tab if you're bored and lazy))). Gameplay doesn't need to stop, and I don't need to use my mouse to click the only choice in a menu!!! AAGGHHAHA!! (In fact, I hate single choices so much, I put out a script for it on this very site!)

AutoMenu is the complete opposite route, making menus a thing of the past! It's not for everyone, but also optional.

A lot of the side stories are incomplete. Again, just too big a thing to tackle for me (but Ferdafs is still going, so maybe we get more on those? or... he starts yet another new story, who knows).

Ethan's message though~ is an aspect of epilogue. I didn't forget about it, but like the Morty origin thing (Space Beth discovering he isn't her son, but surprise, he is, she was just scanning his clothing!) I wrote the whole story out, but released it in bits, so some things feel like they are missing, but just aren't out yet. Of course, I'm not perfect and also (very) possible I've left huge plotholes for players to keep falling into, but as they are bottomless, we'll never see those players again, so we never hear about them! Self-solving plotholes!

You are correct, they aren't really needed, mostly they're exist for extra clarity (and because android sometimes fucks with text size). Mainly they help me spot errors, by making it really clear what type of text something should be. You wouldn't think it would matter, but after the 50th read through of text~ it all just sort of blends together. But, if they bother you, the code is open, and I put all the character names in one spot (game/scripts/character_names.rpy), a simple search and replace of " (Thoughts)" to "" will take care of them.
Why several hundred saves??????! Why it's any TRUE gamer natural instinct to ALWAYS SAVE whenever we can especially when making CHOICES.
