there's been stories of people die from exhaustion and or sleep deprivation over a game, in the past.

I actually haven't spent that much time on this update, it's pretty small, only around ~700lines of dialogue. That is shorter than entire scenes in past releases (that then had 3 or 4 additional scenes in them). While I went longer than I intended yesterday, it wasn't a lot longer (only a few extra hours).

Again, it is much faster to put stuff in, than to make it (I have the process very locked in at this point).

Of course now I get to spend large chunks of today re-reading the same thing over and over, so looking forward to that...

I was expecting that, whenever a dev starts taking longer and longer to release something the amount released also decreases. Ferdafs is probably tired of this game and doesn't want to work on it anymore.

As someone who has had to spend days debuging H1B code I feel your pain, make sure to take breaks, I have gotten in to the habit of getting up and walking around while doing eye exercises to keep my eyes from deteriorating any further.

QC pass on both scenes is completed, it took my a LOT longer than I wanted to spend on it, but I kept finding small issues/errors (and each one is a 15 second reload of the game, which adds up when there are hundreds of small changes). But got it done. Scenes are playable, no missing images, or completely messed up expressions (I'm sure still a few odd ones I overlooked), or other errors (hopefully, who knows).

The next step here is the editing and review pass (which I'm just starting nowish after taking a break between this and QC). Now that I've got the majority of big errors, it's time to make sure the words make sense.

One of the new scenes didn't need much tweaking at all (largely downplaying the girls desire to fuck other guys), so I don't expect to have to spend a lot of time with it.

The other scene... fuck, I still don't know how much "editing" it needs, but it feels like it will be the rest of my work day. The scene certainly isn't where I want it to be, but without removing the core concept, I don't know if I'll ever like what it is.

I'm unlikely to do blinks for this release, but I'll get around to them at some point (haha, maybe) between updates. I don't know, maybe, if I need a break from reading the scenes over again...

Anyhow, back to it, thanks for being awesome!

Maybe have it be Morty's idea instead of Summers when they talk on the couch? Like he tentatively suggests it and Summer is against it till he talks her into it.

No matter what, you'll have to edit the ending you made where Summer tells Morty and Mortisha she's prego.

Ferdafs talked about making a poll on who the update is going to be about next, but has a plan on updating Space Beth content. Nice he actaully gave an update for once, but all I can think of... Is feeling sorry for Night Mirror for how he's going to implement all this lol . You got this bro!!

Ya. That ones going to be tough.

I have changed a lot about the scene, and included much of the dialogue you suggested as well (with some tweaks, but overall I like it a lot (plus, not feeling creative at all)).

No matter what, you'll have to edit the ending

For now, I'm not going to worry about (or alter) the ending (or really any other scenes). Yeah, it has comparability issues, but that will continue to be the case until Ferdafs concludes the game. If I try to alter direction at this point (with another midplot, incomplete story), I'll most likely just have to do it again with the next update, and the next, and the next.

The main negative impact it has at he moment is changing Summer's response to being creampied, as obviously she would be less upset with it. Her having a baby in advance of the ending isn't as big a deal, since she can just be "pregnant" again. Additionally, with the "time" constraint put on the plot (of two weeks) that tells me that scifi nonsense will be needed to resolve it, like it was in the show.. Again, for now, not changing stuff, even if there is a minor inconsistency.

The next update will also be Summer focused (I assuem more on the plot I'm not thrilled with), with the secondary scene being a different character.

It will be interesting to see if he follows through on doing the poll. He has pormised more commincation in the past but not delivered on it, so... who knows. My vote would be for more Space Beth (as he said it would be between her, Jessica, and Super Nova, and two of those characters I don't care about at all).

If things get really stupid, well, the game is completed, I don't have to keep going :/

Both summer and beth have had sex with their doubles. I assume a threesome with each pair would be next. But who knows.
Honestly, I'm still praying for a Beth and Summer(originals) threesome where the girls get busy with eachother.
Mother/Daughter content is so rare in h-games for some reason.

I think I've done the best I can with what I have for this update. At this point it would only be minimal tweaking (or additional minor typos that players will find anyhow, no matter how hard I search). I'm still not "happy" with scene #1, but I guess like the Vindicators stuff, it just is what it is and I have to deal with it. Nature of adaptation, don't always get what I want.

There are only a few steps left, but they sadly aren't quick and so will be a task for the next work session.

The next progress report will be the r4.2 release notification sometime tomorrow (unless I hit some major issue during the RC/Upload process).

Anyhow, thanks for being awesome!

Oh shit, new update soon? The pain, Night Mirror! But hopefully future updates will present less continuity issues (the worse that could happen is a second complete retool of the port based on your original ending).

If that's the case, it's probably for the better Ferdafs should call it a day early or start wrapping it up real soon. Trouble is, the source is unpredictable, so it's probably annoying for Night Mirror.
