Did anyone ever upload the English subtitle file for the recent Bay animation btw? I don't remember seeing it so apologies if I'm mistaken
Not that I'm trying to be disrespectful, ungrateful, or anything of the like. I love Rinhee's work and hope he makes as much money as he can. I also don't care if his stuff is posted here THE MINUTE it releases.

I doubt Rinhee is hurting for cash. He should be pulling in *at least* 100k a year *easily*. After taxes. Ive seen creators with a tenth of the follower counts on all their platforms *combined* make close to 4k. For reference Rinhee has almost half a million twitter followers. He has like 25k favs or something on Kemono. Which means that he is *extremely* popular.
This doesnt mean he shouldnt make more money or something. Just that I don't think his art block was due to not having money or something. I think it was due to burnout from releasing monthly. He was probably having difficulties getting creative with poses.
Nope. I can't speak for his other releases, but the bay video was hardcoded subs into the mp4 file. So unless someone wants to type it all up and make it an srt file I doubt it will ever appear.

Rinhee usually provides subtitle files for English and Korean in addition to the raw file plus hardcoded subbed video files for both English and Korean. It's possible Rinhee didn't include the sub files this time for some reason of course. I have the English hardcoded file but prefer having the raw file + sub file personally
you have the subs for the bay video? If you can upload it its appreciated. I usually like compressing his vids with AV1 and like working off the highest file size available. The hardcoded subs for bay was like 700mb vs, what, the 1.7GB raw file? I can easily put two and two together.

That's what I was asking about actually ha. I have the hardsubbed version of the Bay animation but was hoping for just the sub file (usually an .smi file if I'm not mistaken)

if we go by the only numbers we have, Rinhee is on the lower end of popular porn content with under 1500 paid Patreon members. Like Nagoo has 3/4 million twitter followers and 55.5k favorites on Kemono except only 4500 of all those became paid members. Clicking one button for free on twitter doesnt get you paid.

But assuming its correct (his patreon doesnt give any figures), and the 10 dollar tier is the most popular (according to his patreon page), that means at least 51% of people are doing 10 bucks a month. 750 is half of 1500. So lets make it 755. 755x10 is $7,550 USD. the remaining 745 would do 5 dollar tier. So $3,725 USD
$7,550 + $3,725 is $11,275USD a month.
This is NOT including, fantia, gumroad, and his other accounts. This number is also assuming *the bare minimum* are subscribing to the 10 dollar tier to make it 'most popular', according to Patreon. Odds are its higher. If we assume 33% of all of his money is going towards fees and taxes, he takes home $90,651 USD a year. Again, this is the bare minimum he is making off Patreon alone.
the median salary in Japan is around 41k USD a year. The average is around $47,544USD.
I'm kinda rambling here but my point was I hope he makes even more money, but I doubt money is an issue for him in terms of his creativity. As for your point about followers: it merely indicates popularity. There is a *direct correlation* with popularity and money you make.
I'm merely using Kemono and twitter as a barometer for popularity. Hell, look at this 74 page thread. Now look at the 3 or 4 page threads for other artists. For the ones that have it publically visible, you'll see far lower earning numbers. Its like if you go to a file sharing site and see Michael Jackson shared a TON and small indie bands far fewer. They're all getting the content for free, but the popularity of the artists on a free file sharing board correlate with their real world popularity and their sales numbers.
If 90% are getting your content for free than the higher that 90% number is in nominal terms the higher the 10% is for people paying. if 90% is 25k people on kemono, then 10% is 2.5k people paying you money. Conversely 10% of 500 favs on kemono is 5 people.
Last time rinhee had his revenue showed on patreon in 2k23 it was smth about 9k$, by now its prob around 12k + sales from gumroad/fantia etc. He's easily making over 100k a yaer.
I'd also like to note that the cost of living in Japan is markedly lower than the US. 100K over there in terms of purchasing power far surpasses what you can get for 100k over here. In other words if rinhee is smart he's got a nice fat nest egg for himself over there.
Doesn't mean anything. The creator can choose to display the other option based on "earning potential" (according to Patreon themselves on tier highlighting) and have the most profitable tier labeled as either "You may like" or "Most popular".

Wildeer Studio has under 150k twitter followers and 9k favorites on kemono but has more than twice as many paid Patreon subs as Rinhee. The Instant Pot was like the trendiest home cooking appliance for a number of years and that company filed for bankruptcy. Same with MoviePass that was gaining a million paid subscribers a year for like 3 years.
Oprah has more than double the money and assets than Taylor Swift. Your logic would tell me Oprah is more than twice as popular as Taylor Swift.

seems like he had artist block for this Anis vid too, wonder if he fell too hard into the Nikke rabbit hole, story can get depressing asf. Sad there's no ass view for her though, idk if there's a comment about it
