Some of these games need to start getting abandoned tags on them, like this game, when it hasn't been updated for 11 months.
Tradition (for me) is that any and every game I want to play leaks a day or two before I plan to play it, so id guess a few days before the queen tier

Dude should be glad it's under a year. All the high end shit - Ripples, Eternum, Dik, PC, all take a year an episode. There's a reason they're so highly rated.
I have heard of ripples and eternum but what is Dik and PC?
Being a DIK is probably the most well known visual novel. Pale Carnations is the other and it's considerably newer but very popular.
I know an update is coming in 3 weeks, which will be a year! A YEAR! Milking patrons for a year.

Do you even understand what the word milking means? I don't follow this game too closely, but for what I could tell the dev gives reports on how the update is progressing, and judging by the animation count it makes sense this one took a bit longer.
If they were at like 50% of progress after all this time, or constantly coming up with excuses every week about why they can't work, then I'd agree, but it seems you've never followed a game where the dev is actually milking their patreons.

I completely agree with this but like Ozymandias said they are simply baiting people, the more we reply the more they talk (and I blame myself on that for this post even though not replying directly to them haha). For me it simply got the ignore feature on their first message here

Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more with you, my friend, and I’m actually going to take care of it right now and add him to my ignore list, which brings me to 236 people.
The list has been growing quite a bit lately, so I’d say things are really moving along nicely. Pretty solid score, if you ask me

Yeah it is the best feature to keep the game threads I follow cleaner, it doesn't completely block the members but keeps the threads readable haha. My own ignore list "only" have 46 (I swear it had over 50, maybe by those accounts being deleted or removed/banned it decreased, no idea).It annoyed me I had so many ignored and so few following that is why I started following members like you and others that I cherish and enjoy to talk and debate hehe Annoyed me that those lists were more pro-negative than pro-positive like I really try to keep my contribution here, sometimes I fail on that, after all I'm only human.
Anyway this is completely off topic so lets enjoy that soon we get to play one more awesome Ripples update (and it seems a few more on my favorites games). Gonna be a busy July month playing all those games but Ripples since it is sci-fi gets priority for me.

There's a difference between taking a long time to update and milking. Would you rather they just pump out rushed content every few months?

Some people have a life, family, a 9-5 job, and can only work on it so much. Less than 1% of adult game developers are full-time porn makers.
Also, a few of these developers that take a long while to update have HUGE updates, and most of the time are "bug-free" (that is very rare these days) they equal sometimes 10-15 updates from other games.
If you ain't got no skin in the game buy either supporting or have purchased it, why does it matter so much? Go play something else, there are 1,000's of games to do.

Guys, take it easy. There’s really no point in arguing with this kind of person, because you’re just giving them exactly the reaction they’re looking for. There’s a great feature for that, it’s called “ignore,” and using it is the simplest way to remedy the situation, so no one wastes their time and we can move on to calmer, more meaningful discussions, preferably about the game
Just a quick reminder, it’s really simple, it won’t take more than two minutes, and everyone can take a deep breath.
I ignored him again after that example, it was just for illustration purposes here. ^^

As I mentioned, I don't follow Ripples that closely, so maybe the average update length had been shorter, (I'm guessing around 4-6 months), but honestly 11 isn't that crazy when compared to the other big hitters in the site (Dik,Pale Carnations, Eternum,etc), and we haven't even played the update, maybe the wait ends up being worth it and brings a lot of meaningful content, or maybe it doesn’t, which at that point I would see a more valid reason to complain.
It's funny how common this is, they don't support the developer, yet they get to play the game for free, and then come in the thread of a game they haven’t supported in any way to demand for the update to come sooner?
, literally go play any of the other 1000+ games in the site, whether supporters feel scammed or not isn’t up to freeloaders to decide.
