Why do you think that they didn't get anything? MC is the youngest kid, and got the safe when he became adult. The father died 10 years before this. Jessica is older. The mother inherited whatever she got a decade ago. The safe was specifically for the MC. That's it.
Might be that, or might be what I said before, the game don't explain it, and I don't think it needs too.

Any ETA on next chapter? This is my most anticipated VN
As of the April 24, 2025 Dev Log, we were at 93% completed.

Per the April 4, 2025 Dev Log, we were at 85% completed.

If there are no significant delays due to post work/beta testing, mid-late May looks like a good possibility, but Jestur has not given an actual ETA for this rev yet.

Cheers!! :coffee:

This game and Eternum are so good that they kind of ruined the other games on this site for me, the stories are actually really interesting I'd even play them without the r-rated content. I kind of wish i discovered them once they're done though 'cause waiting for updates kind of sucks
Try Summer's Gone. Eternum was my very first VN that I ever played. It was super hard to find something similar with that quality. Haven't played Ripples tho, thanks to your comment will give a try!

I think neither Summer's Gone or Eternum are good games, hence the laugh. Still taste is subjective and I can take my laugh off if you want to, didn't have bad intention when i clicked it.
While it's true that tastes are subjective and opinions are like assholes (everyone's got one), it's pretty telling that you not only don't like two of the highest rated games here, but say they're "not good games" instead of "I don't like them." It explains some of your hot takes, and way you express them...

You're right, I should have said I don't like them instead of saying they aren't good.

Edit: Talking about other games on Ripples thread isn't good anyway, my mistake.

Mid to late May? Sounds promising for certain.

I wonder if we'll ever have fun with present-day Luna.

She doesn't have any ring on her finger when she visits, so maybe she's not officially married.

But Skylar said her dad left the two of them with debts, so they were clearly all living together before he went to jail. Then Luna would technically still be in a relationship, right?

I wouldn't want Luna to cheat, so it's a tough situation. Only solution I can think of is that Skylar's dad would give Luna a free pass since he knows can't be there for her.

Of course, Luna doesn't currently like us at all and she'd also be reluctant to fool around with someone her daughter likes. But the dad is still the main obstacle I think (I hope he doesn't die or anything tragic like that).

Divorce exists and might be a valid action when a husband defrauds its family and runs away or worse, for example.
Lots the guy could have done to have imploded their relationship and more than justifiy Luna having no ring at present.
Just sayin'.

Ok the nuance and details matter here so I looked again at the exact words from Skylar: "Well, after my dad went to prison, my mom had a hard time paying all the bills and went into debt". So he didn't exactly left them in debt like I initially remembered.

There's not enough reason to divorce. Especially since Skylar also says that someone set her dad up, and she and her mom have a petition to release him.

I think Luna was never officially married. But she also wouldn't break up with someone who is (mostly) unfairly in such a tight spot.

I also wonder if Skylar's dad being set up will have any connection to our story. First, it's strange someone would bother to set him up. Second, I think he's the only absent father where we actually have a detailed explanation (this isn't the case for Jessica, Alyssa, Darci, Krystal).

In any version of Luna? At the very least, I'd say the 1999 one is one of the most beautiful girls in the game.
Who is Luna again?

Actually I haven't the game installed, so I'm quite clueless. The faces that stick to me are Darci, Riley, Jenny and Skylar.

Fair points you make there. Guess i really need to replay from start when next version comes to freshen up the memory.
