i just hope we eventually get to save Jenny. to hell with the time travel tropes and we're living in the present where we already went to the past, i need a loophole.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ending involved the 'dead' people being alive, but being effectively dead (read: somewhere else and not interacting with the main story).

I was just thinking about the potential 'ripples' of simply removing people from the main timeline, and shunting them somewhere else. It wouldn't impact the story if a player did or didn't save someone, so from a developer perspective, it's workable, and might have some value down the line.
I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like all of the dead people are missing bodies too. I'll have to do another replay to make sure my theory still stacks up, but in terms of ripples, we've already seen a few potentials (the necklace related one being the big one), so it'd stand to reason we could do something small but relatively inconsequential to the main timeline.

I think at least some of them weren't killed in the accident but sent through and possibly stranded in the past. We know whenever someone travels through time they're missing in their own timeline. So if they were stranded in the past somehow they'd be declared dead after being missing for so long. There are a lot of hints that Jackie/Miss Gilmour is actually Jenny but older for example.

On the search box on the top right corner put "Compressed v0.7.0" I'm sure you get it.
Lmao, so many times I repeat this when I search with that I see a bunch of my posts
but its there, usually is Bob69 or SoL who does the compressions.

Go into your F95 account, look under "Preferences" for "Search Options" and switch it to "Most recent". With that you can just search for "compressed" in most threads and the most recent version should be among the first couple of search results.

The story works well either with or without the patch imo. It's not one of those games where it's obvious incest was intended and without the patch it's a mess of landlady/tennant nonsense. So it's personal preference really.

I just remembered that Darci and the MC used in 1999 money from the future. Did the MC forget he got in trouble for that once already? I don't see why the money he got from his dad's inheritance would be from 1999 or older.
