I'd take any information given by an ai chatbot with a handful of salt with how often they're wrong because of "hallucinations". But even if Skylar could withstand getting her sleeves done in that timeframe, and the artist was willing to do that, it'd still take a long time for them to fully heal. And they show no sign of being very fresh when we see her. New tats are pretty obvious because of the inflammation, especially very large tats like those sleeves.

Yeah, but she wasn't gone 2 weeks. And there's still the healing time after to consider. No matter how high your pain tolerance, getting that much ink that quickly is going to take time to recover from. In game it doesn't give a specific timeframe that she's gone, it only says she's been gone "days" before she shows back up. But that doesn't sound like long, perhaps not even a full week.

Why didn't she return sooner then, just because it would have been harder to explain the tattoos? Her mom was really worried for a week, and she surely knew she'd get fired. Who knows why she didn't just come back to the instant after she left. Perhaps to make it slightly less obvious something was really fucking weird with her instantly having full sleeves out of nowhere. But she couldn't stay missing too long, she probably didn't want to worry her mom and the MC too much. So staying missing for a realistic timeframe for those sleeves to make sense was sort of off the table. So maybe she just came back to a point where the sleeves were questionable but hoped nobody would think too hard on the situation, instead of it being completely obvious something was up.

It's also possible that it's a similar type of time travel to what the MC uses, but they've found a way to change the ratio of time passing. Say, instead of 1 to 1 like the MC, it could be 1 day missing for every 4 in the other time period. If so, she couldn't choose when exactly to come back to, same as the MC.

This is a good point I didn't even consider. And makes me think of the time Riley ambushed the principal spying on the MC for the bad guys in the bushes. She says something along the lines of "This is for what you did to that girl the other day!" before giving him another whack with the bat. She could have been referencing them kidnapping Skylar and doing something to her, similar to what they were doing with Darcis mom in '99.

The bad guys might have a slightly different form of time travel they use than the MC, and it could explain the differences.

True, MC and Darci haven't come back to their own time since using that new equipment for the first time. So we don't really know yet if they'll come back and find the same amount of time passed that they were gone like before.

It's definitely possible that you're right and major events can't be changed. The only hint we have that some things might be able to be changed is the brief time Krystals name changed if you didn't give that pendant to Khloe. I believe the masked man mentions observing small changes at one point as well, but saying large changes seemed impossible, or very difficult to pull off.

The sides can't change large events but are trying to make small changes that do seem to be possible. Perhaps hoping all the small ripples will combine to change something big, since they can't directly change anything major. Sort of like a rogue wave, where lots of small waves if they sync up just right can form a massive one. The very name of the game itself might be alluding to this, Ripples.

Well with the crystal thing, that is a change, Because if you give the necklace to Khloe instead of Scarlett then you get dialogue from Darci and Krystal that explains why Krystal is a 'hotdog fucker.' Whereas if you give it to Scarlett, you get the 'Kira' scene instead and in Episode 3 after Darci explains that she was trolling you and that Kira was Krystal's middle name the MC (let's just call him Jack, it's the default anyway) states that he vaguely recalls Krystal's middle name being something else. Also the masked guy(I'm going to call him 'Old Jack' because I'm pretty certain he is Jack in the future) states that he wants to look at things from the outside because he noticed small changes Like Daermon said.

However, what does support your theory is that Tiffany mentioned to Valerie that she remembered a guy who looked like Jack saving her in 1999 before that happened in Jack's personal timeline.

I found the first one easily enough based on the hint, but I'm wondering if there's the same old problem with the Mod again - seems the next couple should have been triggered already based on the hints, but maybe not. Finally got to go back to my Episode 5 endpoint save and organically collect the Tiffany and Dani Episode 6 hiddens. Before that it was the Episode 5 Shelby hidden. Not sure why there always seems to be a problem with this.

It looks like there may be enough VN left for them to pop up, based on the scenes still left. Just may be that the venue of the shot isn't exactly aligned with the location of the clue. For instance, one is suppose to be Jenny in the game room, but the clue was no where to be found during a scene with her in that room, but maybe the glove referenced in the clue is in another scene where she appears. Just getting deeper and things aren't showing up as quickly as expected.
