They clearly know a lot about what happens, sometimes even before it does like when April warns you that is Tiffany about to be attacked just in time to save her.

It wouldn't make sense if it were orders from the other side, since that's who Riley just saved us from.

I can't think of anyone else it could be. If there's some 3rd faction I haven't caught any hints of it yet.

I would like to add, do we actually know what faction Cindy is with? Because we know her husband is probably cheating on her and she knows, it kinda makes me think that she is independent of the "main" powerplant group

Actually in that confrontation after the party with Cindy she makes it pretty clear she was solidly with the faction operating out of the power plant. The MC confronts her about it and she sends the guards away so they can't hear what she says after, then laughs about it, saying that she knew about the kidnappings and what they did to the girls they abducted. She was neck deep in their shit.

Plus the first time we encounter her it's to steal important documents, probably related to their time travel experiments, from her office. I don't think she'd have those if she wasn't in deep with those people.

I think we were previously speculating that Riley was one of the time travelers working for the masked man et al based on the banana Darci and MC found at the lab, anyway.

I played the update yesterday and HOLY MOLY! This was a great update. Although focused on just one thing, it was really well done.

Props to the dev for arraying a bunch of super sexy girls in one place and even adding a male invitee to make things a bit more believable.
Funny thing is that I'm not in Scarlett and Valerie paths but still got the threesome scene. Scarlett has a really fun personality and I'm thinking about replaying the game to add her to the harem.
Riley saving us in the end was awesome, although how did she know he would be there? That left me scratching my head...

Most likely scenario the MC himself told her when and were to save him, it's time travel after all.

Well, I was trying to avoid the 1999 girls since I'd get quite sick if MC ended up being the father of their children in 2019.
However, now it has finally dawned on me that Jestur isn't stupid and won't put incest in this game - since he likes Patreon moneis. Therefore, I feel more prone to taste dem soon-to-be-mommies

Also, if you're gonna start play this game now... wouldn't it better to *not* check spoilers?

Probably true, but that ship has sailed long ago. This game has kindled my interest ages ago, still preferred to play a few already completed games first. And at several points when I pondered finally tackling Ripples there seemed another update just around the corner, so I waited and got caught up in other stuff in the meantime. Still hesitant about playing an unfinished game of this obvious quality, but pitao kinda made me. :>
Also, still didn't spoil myself all that much really, as I usually lack a lot of context of the story and scenes discussed and therefore quickly forget about most of it again. Basically all I really know about this game is there is time travel.

But what they have achieved is that Patreon throws out every game that has incest in the widest sense, or an official patch that adds incest (to close the workaround that some Steam games use for restrictive countries).

This seems to be a problem for Ripples, which I think was started before Patreon got these anti-incest rules. At the time, since (for reasons I don't really understand) incest is so popular in these games, it made financial sense to include it in your game. And it appears that the original plan was for the main character to discover at some point that one or more of the girls he had sex with in the 'present' was actually his daughter, as a result of having had sex with her mother while time traveling to the 'past'. This plan, if it existed as many of us believe, had to be revised and the plot change accordingly. This may make this set-up turn out to be frustrated foreshadowing, i.e. foreshadowing (an implicit promise of future events) that is ultimately not satisfied, leaving a bad taste for the reader. But perhaps we are wrong, or perhaps the author finds a different way to satisfy the foreshadowing. Such as by the main character's temporary belief that he had committed unwitting incest with his daughter(s), before finding out the father is someone else.

Thanks for the explaination , I have seen games with incest and other wierd stuff , create a side patch that can only be downloaded through maybe discord or through some other link . And the official patch doesnt have incest ( at least text wise ) . The author can do the reveal in side patch as " Wow this was my ( family member ) while in official patch on patreon could be " I guess she isnt my ( family member)" . For example you can check out Friends in Need , that is a fucked up game but this workaround works as legally the official patch doesnt break the rules

I don't think that the plot was changed, just some details as to familial relations. But I could be wrong.

What I want to say is... the problem is too many girls. Or more precisely, it is difficult to fit them all into a quality game. That's why I personally prefer games where there are fewer girls, but they are better revealed and none of them suffer from a lack of scenes or screen time.
