Yeah that's all very fair criticism. Tbh, at the beginning I was mostly writing something I would enjoy because that's what I know, so as a straight guy that meant lots of girls. I have since started branching off and trying to add more variety to the game, and I have specifically been putting more effort on the male characters because they really were lacking. As of this year I even started playing Otome games myself in an effort to experience more visual novels and continue to improve my skills. Feels kinda of bad to just say bear with it, it gets better later, but I do belive I did a better job with the male characters in the later chapters.

Agreed, it seems like a move away from harder sub/dom content to something more romantic, softening the edges in a sense. I think that the romantic content is sufficiently covered by other routes and that the Evelyn content should be more extreme where their sub/dom relationship goes beyond the bedroom to daily life, politics, and so on.
I do get that, I felt like it wasn't going to please everyone as I was writing it, but it felt like the logical route to go into. I originally planned on setting up two routes, one that was going to go harder and another that was going to stay the course, but like you said, we already have too many LI's that need attention, so we didn't want to split another LI into multiple routes on top of everything else. Though I hear a lot of people have been enjoying Evelyn's route, so maybe I can give her that extra bit of love at some point.
