Amazing story, Amazing art, Amazing writing. Can't recommend Rise of The White Flower enough. Seriously this game is so unbelievably good I can't believe it doesn't charge money. Necro Bunny Studios really outdid themselves and deserve this and much more praise and plays. Can't wait for every update!

An excellent game
My preference for a porn game is something that offers either a game or a well constructed visual novel and happens to have sexy scenarios along the way.

Attempt to be OBJECTIVE:

Gameplay mechanics: Intuitive, can all be managed with a mouse. Following the plot is made fairly straightforward via the city map. As far as I can tell at this stage the mainplot is mostly linear for the first few chapters with occasional options leading to short side paths that return to the main plot. Fights are largely prewritten.

Visuals: Very good and consistent. Characters are represented consistently, some control over outfits is allowed. The changes to looks and expressions are not over the top at any point.

Characters: A number of different characters with unique personalities that allows for good interactions (often with dry humour). The majority of the important NPCs are female.

Sex: Good amount of scenes, most of which can be optionally initiated by choices made by the MC. At this stage mostly lesbian, some futa on woman.

No attempt to be objective (SUBJECTIVE):
At the moment I think of this as a sci-fantasy novel. Love the plot, some significant effort has gone into the history (Edit: lore, the word I wanted was lore) of the world which hosts the adventure. Love the NPCs, good range from Machiavellian to homocidal to cute to gormless. Love the humour (always makes a game more playable for me).

VERY IMPORTANT: The developers clearly take an active interest in responses and the reception of the game and are willing to listen and advise on a regular basis on this thread.

Really entertaining story so far. Definitely get the feeling based on the lack of changes to the stats pages that the plans for the game changed over time but that in no way detracts from the game. Some of the longer games on this site start to feel like that for each new update things are just being dragged out in order to avoid the loss of Patreon funding. For this one, however, the story pacing is great. the characters are interesting and you really feel that the story is proceeding at a logical pace.

Very well made, The story is very engaging.
I really like the amount of costumes the characters have and I would like to see everyone get some more or more customization options (tattoos, piercings, accessories, etc ).

Chapter 5 review.

I guess game like these are inventiable in #metoo and strong wymen era. Okay, so even in the promo banner you can see that all females are alpha as fuck and males not-so. Basically this is a dream game for butches, do not expect girly or femine girls in this game. I am not judging anyones taste here, just telling the obvious to clueless anons. A lot of lesbian and futa sex incoming!

Anyway, this might be a weird thing to read but graphics are in secondary role in this game. This is a novel with graphics flavour, if you don't like read a cinematic book with music do not bother with this game. But yeah, the plot is good, characters are well written and music is excellent. This game is not linear but not a sandbox either, and the middle ground devs chose works really well.

Why this game doesn't deserve full 5/5 is because lack of art and diverse scenes. Same graphics, character expressions and so on repeat all the time and main enemies like goblin king or orcs with werewolves have not been drawn at all! You go to cave and you have same background all the time. I am still playing the first chapter so maybe in later chapters more workshours have been spent on art.

Overall quite entertaining game with girls who will rape you and say how pathetic weak you are. Grow some boobs man!

Well written and very polished game in all aspects.

This game is truly a delight everytime I play it. It has all the things a visual novel would need. Great artwork, awesome dialogue, great characters and very cool music.

There are a lot of other great things about it like:

-The main character Catherine who is a strong character with great personality and a sexy character design. My favorite aspect about her that you barely see in games is how she is sexually active. She isn't shy about having sex with hot people.

-Side characters. Most of them are developed really well. Some more than others but that is due to the episodic nature of the game of course. Not to mention that almost all of them are very hot and sexy. They all have unique characteristics and are enjoyable to learn more about them.

-The sex scenes. They are really hot and as mentioned before, never feel forced as Catherine herself is written as a very sexual person. She enjoys herself and you enjoy it together with her.

-The story. I don't want to spoil anything about it but it has some really cool directions. Especially in chapter 4 which has some really great scenes.

A rare gem if you're into games where you are playing a strong female MC. As a player, you are more or less never forced into anything which means that you can either slut it up or decide to be with a special someone or a select few. You can either do a pure lezzy run if that's your thing (it's most definitely mine) or you can do both F/F and M/F or only M/F, obviously. The writing and the art are excellent. And the creators: Vane and Banshee are lovely. I would recommend this game to anyone playing any sort of smut-games, no matter preference! Keep up the awesome work Vane and Banshee! <3

Beautiful art, well written story, and a very smooth playing experience. This game is a hidden gem and deserves more attention. My only criticism is that the game could use some more art depicting the sex scenes.

So I've finished the game in it's current (0.4.2) state and I'm very impressed with how good it is. It's one of the best written erotic games I know (and I know a lot of them, the only ones that can compete are Pale Carnations and Once in a Lifetime) and one of the few that can hold its ground even without erotic content (only Peasant's Quest is on par). The story and characters are superbly designed, the pace is great and the plot twists are exciting and not far-fetched (which is a rare thing).

It's also exquisitely designed and thanks to Unity being used it not only feels unique but it's also extremely convenient to play. Everything is much more smoother than in Renpy games, there are no bugs (literally, while in Renpy games there are plenty usually) plus we get some really nice additions. e.g. we can bookmark whatever saves we want and easily recall our favourite scene or a particularly interesting fork during a quest.

Anyway, I could go on and praise the game but I'll stop and just sum up the most important things:

Pros:
+ Extremely well written, has engaging (read: addicting) story and a great set of characters that feel alive.
+ Has loads of content and provides many hours of enjoyment, much more than most successful titles.
+ Bugless, smooth experience and with many convenient features (like bookmarking favourite saves) plus it works very well even on old computers.
+ VERY replayable, there are important choices to be made here that impact the story and aren't just flavour.
+ Graphics and art are beautiful and unique and erotic scenes are fucking hot.

Cons:
- Not much to tell, there could be more sex scenes of course and more images and animations (it barely has any) but that doesn't impact the game in any significant way to be honest. I've been more horny playing this game than 99% of other titles which usually had more graphic content. The writing here does the job extremely well and the art is just a cherry on top of a perfect game.

10/10 game, will play again, and again and again.

An excellent game with an engaging story, beautiful art, and engaging characters that make you care about the choices you make. Hard to describe just how good this game is. I find myself checking in at an unhealthy frequency hoping to see updates to the game

Incredible game. Fun, great artwork, devs who care, great writing. A fun little sex romp through a D&D like world, with a MC female character who isn't corrupted or a degenerate, but just loves sex (at least the way I play her, all sex scenes are avoidable).

Lots of lesbian and futa on girl sex, but there are other fetishes in here too. Did I mention the devs care? Very active community and they are very responsive. Became a Patreon after their first release and have never looked back

Very, very, very good visual novel. Art is among the best in F95 Zone, the story is quite good, kink variety is amazing for a game that looks so good. There's enough choices and tasks to make this an actual game and not just a VN that you follow through the story without doing anything. Looking forward for more of this.

The art is good, the thumbnail is a good indication of what you should expect to see in the game.
The story is also quite interesting and original, I'm interested to see what will happen next, and there seems to be multiple routes/endings planned based on the choices you make.
The amount of content is good so far and going by how much there is so far I expect it to have quite a lot of it by the end.
The player can choose who to pursue, and what genres/fetishes they wish to explore, Although it should be obvious that the game is generally speaking focused on lesbian relations (with both female and futa).
I highly recommend it, the game seems very promising so far.

Came for the titties, stayed for the story. Good art, characterization, and surprisingly deepest lore for a porn game. I have high hopes for this one and I wish more people would be supportive of female protag games.

So. Worth mentioning: This is a adult visual novel, and the novel bit infers that there is going to be a good stretch of reading involved. Those that are looking for a straight shot to the meaty slap and tickle slideshow are going to be either out of their element, or speeding through the dialouge with the skip button and hoping the choices made will have them, much like the characters involved, get lucky. And glossing through the bulk of it would likely be a mistake due to the writing and the very core of game itself being pretty danged good.

Why so? For one, the writers choose to respect the readers intelligence, which is a nice change of pace. There are subplots, magic, politics, sexy times, and more. A unique fantasy setting and world. The cast is often complex and quirky, with sides and layers to be revealed through the process of interaction or further gameplay. There is plenty of story and lore to be found, but it is often delivered in such as way it feels natural, rather than tacked on chunks of rampant explosition or walls of text dumping lore here and there. The player has a great deal of choice regarding how to deal with a situation, or what individuals to persue romantically (or not). The character artwork and sprites are bright and expressive, with various expressions and emotes that enhance the writing that much more. Lastly, the sex scenes are well written and drawn, while not too rare an occurance. (Although more are certainly welcome.)

In the pilots seat of this fantasy fare we have a fun, if flawed female protagonist. She's passsionate, willful, hot, and a fantastic vehicle to drive the narrative further in a fantasy porn game-- which again, is very much under player control. Wether she is a salacious strumpet, an unrepentant bitch, a glorious hero, or somewhere in between.. that's what we get to discover and shape as we make our way through the story. Romantic options, if any, are also largely under player control with both sexes being fair game.


If you are looking for a solid bit of plot with your porn, this is a good way to go about it. Looking forward to further progress with great anticipation.

What a fantastic game, by far the best adult game I've ever played and even better than many regular games. Great art, story, soundtrack, amount of content, well made UI, world building... You can truly tell the devs have professional experience and aren't simply scraping together some quickly acquired skills for a side project. Don't get me wrong, many people have no other option but to start that way, with how much this game stands out, however, it's obvious there's something more to them, that little extra factor that just makes things work. For example, many adult games just try to throw as many sex scenes at you as possible, but personally I think that makes them cheap, if you only care about a quick wank then go watch a porn video. This game actually has a story, it got me engrossed with it to the point I was surprised with myself, I hadn't had this much FUN with a game in a good while, and that's counting big studio AAA titles. I admit at the start I thought there was a little bit of a wait for things to get going, and I wasn't expecting that much of it since the fantasy setting premise is not that rare, but after a couple minutes it drew me in and, as the world building and the quality of the execution became obvious, I knew it was going to be great. Like I said previously, it feels professional, this allows you to really get into it, instead of "getting out of the story" every now and then to ponder the devs' humanity. What I mean by this is it's immersive and that's not easy to achieve.

As it was already mentioned in an earlier review, there are some small errors here and there, like the occasional spelling mistake (fell instead of feel happened a couple of times), but nothing that takes away from it. The only other thing that happened is, from about chapter 2 onwards, sometimes character A would be speaking but the box identified it as character B, but again, that's a small, comprehensible mistake. I'm mentioning these out of respect for the devs because I've never wanted to see a game through this much, I would have no problem just lavishing them in praise, but then people might think it's your usual, run of the mill compliment, quickly dispensed. Trust me, it isn't, this game is really off the charts. I hope to see it achieving wide reaching appraisal, for it surely deserves it.

Great art, great story, great kinks and all-around quality product. More games should set such high standards as these devs have! Definitely worth following this project and seeing just how far this game can go. As of 0.3 version it already has enough content for a couple of evenings, so I imagine the full version will be a full-fledged adventure for at least a week. Great choice system, very intuitive quest-design and relationship-system design. 5/5!

This game has a superb story. From the lore bulding of the world, passing through the narrative, the sex scenes and the characters.

Also the art is really good, making for some really hot sex scenes when combined with the narrative.

All in all Rise of the White Flower has all the ingredients to be one amazing game.

Really awesome game. The art and writing are stellar. For starters, it's got an actual story, which already puts it ahead 90% of porn games. And then come to find out the story is actually well thought out despite its simple premise. The worldbuilding and lore is the best I've seen in any adult game (it's better than some AAA games honestly).

There's tons of H content already, despite it being only v0.3 and it touches on lots of different kinks, so there's sure something there for you. Even at this early stage, the game has more art than a lot of completed games, and that's even before you consider the dozens of different characters, each with a whole array of different expressions, a whole bunch of character outfits, backgrounds, and UI art.

To top it all off, the UI and user experience are really polished. Ren'Py is usually the standard for VNs, but this game has it beat by a mile. It's got all of the features you'd expect from a VN: rollback, text speed adjustment, text skipping, a gallery mode and so on. All of this in a much nicer UI (all custom assets) than any Ren'Py game I've seen.

In summary, you should definitely play this game. It's really impressive what the devs have been able to achieve with so little funding and I hope they get a lot more

This is a really fun game. Artwork is beautiful and detailed give you the image of this fantasy world. Female protag is exciting so that's a fresh aspect for me. Story is decent looks like usual fantasy stories but well written. Sex scenes are hot they have so many variations that it close to animation.
