I think with that people who hated this game perhaps will come back and give it another try.

Essentially the two have to be a thing because its sets up something that happens to ichiro later in the story. Kinda hard to get into it. It's all spoilers. Stella and Katsuo are a thing, but she definitely gets dissatisfied with him later. The majority of the girls are going to end up with the MC at the end though. Minus the ones you lose along the way. Mei Rin and Yumi are the main LI's so those three will probably be hovering around him the majority of the game.

So If I understand it correctly, you think that since the game will have different people having sex but people will jump ship from the beginning, but if its portrayed in a good way, aka the girls who are fucking their BF/Husbands are weak/incapable doing their manly part and implied that MC will steal her away, these negative feelings will be less present and perhaps even encourage people to give it another try ?

Well...yes and no. I saw this method being tried out in Porn games, mostly VN, but sadly they didnt deliver. Last game I rememeber who tried it was Twin Maniax but failed miserably with it because MC was just wachting like a beta and the girls enjoyed being fucked by the others. IMO this was the last straw people jumped ship.

However:
You mention Adult toons, I see this done perfectly in Manhwas, even Harem manhwas too. If I could give a good example is "Sextudy Group"(Still ongoing), "She is Working Out" (Still ongoing) and a Doujinshi called "Sex Friend" by Makino Eki which has already 4 volumes and.

While Sextudy Group is the best example I still want to give some more examples how things could go because like in She is Working Out its not clear where it will go and Sex Friend is similar.
Giving examples here for every each would take to much time so I will go with She is Working Out because while not being the best example, I think it could be used as one if implimented correctly.

The NTR tags on the game because ppl already consider everything that's happened NTR apparently. Player might try to steal Stella from Katsuo at some point, but it's not in the game yet. Not sure when it'll appear. I just have some vague concept in my head about how this might play out.

I haven't written the later chapters yet, but yeah pretty much no one is safe. Maybe one or two girls will make it through unscathed. Either way, not too much has happened yet. There's only a dozen or so adult scenes. I've been informed that this game won't appeal to harem players. It's full of NTR/sharing apparently.

If you think about fans of the harem genre, what they don't like is watching other guys fuck. It doesn't matter if it's NTR or sharing or not, but certainly if it's NTR or sharing it's usually even worse (and if the girl is a LI many will take it for NTR no matter if she is in a relationship with the MC or not).

The mistake in Twinx Maniac is not that the LIs fuck with others and enjoy it, it's that they fuck with others and you see it, that they enjoy and comment on it all the time only makes it even worse.

For me, any scene that includes a guy (or more) other than the MC with at least one LI (main or side) is a turnoff. So is losing LIs along the way. Any voyeur scene that includes girls who are not and will not be LIs isn't interesting to me at all (but for other followers of the harem genre it can also be a turnoff).

The only possibility that this game could interest me is that: 1) I don't have to see any scenes between LIs and other guys (and if possible few of them happen) 2) that once a LI is with the MC, she no longer fucks (either on screen or off) with any other guy other than the MC (and if possible not with girls either) 3) That we have the possibility that at the end of the game the MC is with ALL the LIs (this is, that there is the possibility of not losing any along the way)

But I'm not sure if those three premises fit with Studio Mystic's intentions for the game.

In other games I see you can avoid it with a different path, aka it wont happend so you are safe.

Twin Maniax may fucked up I agree, but the point was that in his eyes he needed to show them, but he failed to do it properly and people were looking for any real development there...and we all know how things ended.
Right now this game goes in the same direction but at least for now it didnt fucked it up, at least not in my eyes.

Well, Dev said in recent post something about that. Mainly because he wants to warn people so they dont get shocked when it happend. I could be wrong here since even the Dev said he didnt wrote the story himself to the end so you should expect everything, hence him tagging the game with scenes warnings.

I mean next chapter Kanae will bang Ichiro. From what he said Kanae is a side girl, perhaps even a background chick and her role probably exists for sex scenes with Ichiro and other guys. And we already saw Stella giving a BJ to Katsuo. With that its already a lost case and I understand you.
However,

I played the current update and if you ignore the scene with Stella, its purely a MC straight forwarded story.

No worries, you have a zombie apocalypse and as far as it sounds like. You try to build up a bit consistency and logic into the world. All girls only sleeping with you is very unlikely. Not getting murdered by another guy in your sleep over it, even less.

So either you bend the world building, which just leaves a bad taste. Or you offend some people. Money says former choice, later one says personality.

I guess it is the difference between a fap game versus adult game with fap elements.

I'm not knocking it,and there is absolutely a market for this type of game.(even if it's not for me )

I just suspect,that its gonna take awhile for it to really take off.

But by no means is my post meant negatively. I really wish all game devs( except for 2) the best of luck.

It's just really hard to appeal to completely different audiences. Doubly so when you're telling your story in installments
