Ren'Py Rogue-like: Evolution [v1.52a] [Oni]

Honestly I'd be thrilled to give him money on patreon if his work was more consistent and he would at least finish up Laura content, and possibly flesh out Rogue, Kitty, and Emma, before he considers adding anyone else. I'd love to see him add X Men Evolution characters like Boom Boom or Scarlet Witch. If he winds up going down the route of adding too many others instead of improving who is in the game now; the game might wind up like a much worse Something Unlimited (Many characters but all at different levels of completion).

It takes a long time even if you think this game is just simple. The coding, the art work, the plot of the story. I think it was a weird sideways view of doggy style and eventually went from there with dates where you could also force rogue to get sexual with a movie theater usher. In the last few years he has done a lot with the game that I love, his art is great and the choices for positions and character designs is fine with me, but he has also slowed down with little to no notice, made questionable design choices, and refused help for years from volunteers so it is a bit frustrating to see the pace slow to a crawl for seemingly minimal updates for things that could have possibly been well sorted out long ago. Granted for all his flaws his game is definitely my favorite in the trainer genre along with 4ET.

I understand, and I'm not pointing out that u were immature. I was speaking to the people who're like that. However, as I said, well, maybe I've explained this before to the same topic about not wanting help. Maybe he's the type of guy that believes in himself and he knows he can do it. I am like that as well in my college days. Even when people offer me help, I decline, simply because I want myself to learn on my own and improve on my own so that in the future, I won't have that feeling which is getting used to relying on others, and that it boosts my morale more thinking, "i've done it before, im sure i can do it now". Or maybe he just takes pride in his work. Either way, the feeling at the end is just so satisfying. Also, there are times where working in a group can be very stressful, and maybe he's trying to avoid that. Or he may be dealing with depression so he has no passion in doing work. Working without passion won't bring out the best and the outcome won't be as good as to putting love in it. I understand how you feel, but we simply just have to respect him and wait. That's the only thing we can do for now.

It's like having a disagreement with someone and u realized ur wrong, but then you wanted to talk to him/her but a friend of urs tells you "no, it's not the right time. Let him/her clear hos/her head. Givve them time"

let him be for now. I'm sure he'll make up for lost time. We just have to believe in him. Remember when we had a long wait after december, and then he just showers us with continuous udates? yeah

banging rogue in one position is frustrating, yeah? that's why we have mods to satisfy ur very needs.

Decided to check out this thread again and I gotta say....Squirrel Girl? How the hell are you introducing Squirrel Girl?? Gwenpool would be much more interesting of a character to implement with tons of options for an intro story to make the game interesting again instead of a plotless trainer game.

That said, it's good to see not much has changed. I'm going back to the mod now.

the one with mystique? i like that one but it's kind of buggy and hasnt been updated in a while. you can't even change her to her human form during intercourse. u can click it, but she'll just remain blue which is kinda annoying

I understand, but you should also think about the developer that this game is not the only one he must focus on his life. He's a human being and he's got other stuff to take care about, personally.

Who knows, he may be undergoing depression and is taking the time to compose and get himself a breather. Do you even know what will happen if you put too much pressure on an already stressed person??

Read my 1st reply to @Aurelius please. I'm pretty sure he understands. If you're already 18+, I'm sure you're all mature enough to understand. If not, then i don't know why there are 12-17 on this website. It's not being mean. There's literally a reason why adult sites are 18+. They're not just assuming 18+ are already adults. If you're 18+, act ur age. You're adults ffs. You should be able to try and see the perspective of other people if u put urselves in their shoes. Stop being selfish if you're not even contributing anything to the developer. Their work requires love/passion. Without it, we'd all be getting shitty content.

If you want contents that you wont regret, be patient. Devs are not fucking robots. They are just human beings. Never pressure someone in doing their work especially if you want good outcomes.

I almost chopped a clients head once because I was doing the work he wanted and he wanted it to be done perfectly. But instead, he just keeps on interrupting and putting pressure on me. The frustration of someone who keeps on bothering you while you're trying to think a design that will make them satisfied. They just won't leave u space to do ur fkin job. I say these things because I understand and quite get the perspective of the devs.

Please be fkin patient. Learn to put yourselves in the shoes of the developers and try to putyourselves in situations where ur under a lot of stress not only from trying to make a game which satisfies people, but also in your daily life. It's not easy and it will literally drive you insane. So if you have a hard time understanding, just keep quiet and wait. Watch porn to keep urselves occupied.

I'm really sorry if I may sound pissed, but almost every thread I go to I see people complaining how long every update takes. It just sounds so selfish and very very childish. Regarding the two Rogues: this kinda makes me wish we could have an option for her to wear different clothes, have accessories, and change her hairstyle beyond what is in the modded version. The modded version is great, but I'd love to see the promo-Rogue in the game in some way.
