For me it worked with waiting. When you are asked if you want to go to the main menu, simply click away and wait. At some point, something will be triggered and the dialog will continue.

EDIT: Forget what I said. ^^ I got through the part with this "trick", but after that I was stuck in the same place in the living room as the user who asked the question here in the thread 5 times or so. The game is unfortunately broken. I even have the Steam version and was able to check everything 5 times without any results. It's a real shame because the animations I had seen up to that point were really sexy and good.

I overrode the steam check and am able to proceed to chapter 8 now.

I have backed up and replaced Assembly-CSharp.dll in folder Romance_Data\Managed

I can confirm that replacing Assembly-CSharp.dll makes the game run normally until Finale chapter.
After finishing the story, memory section and the sex CGs are all unlocked but the story CGs and Q CGs are still locked.

I've already explained that I replaced the original Assembly-CSharp.dll file (post #126).
I was able to complete the game and reach the Finale chapter successfully. However, the memory section and sex CGs are still inaccessible, even after finishing the story.
So yes, it works as intended — with some limitations I’ve already pointed out.
