So is the character maker superior than HS2?
The game could be a downgraded AA2 with better sex interactions and more clothes....I mean AA fun was about crazy people doing orgy in classroom and being angry when interrupted by classmates, then cucking and killing each other....but was lackluster on other sides. For example clothes and stripping was basic (you just had that some personality would do sex with clothes pulled and other only naked)

I just watched the new trailer and I'm getting massive Ai Shoujo vibes from it.
Same graphics, same sex animations, same voices and then this classic "hey look, the girls are running around doing random shit so you creepes can stalk them"
so nothing new... it's a disappointment already and that's just been the trailers so far.
and the funny thing is that illusion blocked their page with the trailers for foreigner...

Look like a game inspired from Sims 4, which is very unexpected. It's may have a good potential tbh.

AI shoujo is basically Artificial girl on a big unique map with a broken housing mod.

That is because they cut down development of the game after initial backlash, it didnt receive usual illusion treatment with DLC packs and extra stories. During that time(2006) society wasnt "progressive" enough. Illusion tried to reboot it with Playhome , achieving better results and watering down some "actions".

before that there was underrated Realplay it was similar to Rapelay but since it didn't had rape in title westerners haven't really cared about it. Honestly i'm getting bored with vanilla Illusion games i need something more like those two.

It's not illegal, but it's against Illusion's terms of service. So, yeah, its sort of not allowed. People still go out of their way to mod it anyway, so Illusion can't really do anything. The power of piracy.

I'm looking foward to see how it'll work, but so far, I've gotta say, the character creator is more than enough. I've ported a few characters and made a few others, and yeah; best to show how much better it is in its base game customization compared to the few latest from Illusion.
I don't know how to edit images but I think Uma here serves as an example of how good the base customization is in comparision to HS2.
