guess i'll give it a try, the char maker is the usual stuff. not a fan of new illusion stuff but i always ended up trying their new games
Woah no need to get so mad at people bro, chill... I still love Illusion for the enrichment they made in my past.TLDR: You have no argument.
You admit you haven't been modding games made by Illusion since Artificial Girl 3 and that you are not up to date with developments inside Illusion modding community and progress modders have made over last several years.
For example realistic penetration has been a thing in Illusion games since 2020 in Ai Shouyo and Honey Select 2 without relying on resource demanding collision that destroys performancethrough physics because main game relies on pre-set animations.
Similarly in Studio there is plugin to slave penis to track vagina as too visual effect can be made to see penetration of uterus.
I don't know about Illusion not embracing the modding community. I thought that was already a big thing when they switched over to using the Unity engine for their games? Probably one of the easiest engines to mod for people if it wasn't already obvious with the almost ridiculous repack size that included tons of mods for KK.Woah no need to get so mad at people bro, chill... They'll always have a special place in my heart, especially with what the modding community had to work with in the past.
They were cutting edge back in the day, with those beautiful bouncing 3D tits!
So you're saying the animations are baked then? Can you easily inject any new ones inside of the recent games, as I could in Virt-A-Mate?
Illusion's a game developing company, while Virt-A-Mate's more software and mod friendly and community driven by design.
Apples to oranges, don't get me wrong, lots cons with Virt-A-Mate too... Especially how there's such a limited amount of clothing for men, especially when wanting to make visual novels.
Physics aren't so bad in Virt-A-Mate even with cloth and hair physics running poorly optimized, single threaded in some parts, which is only good with two characters and decent lighting. Although I can clock in 60FPS with five characters, sped up with some FPS AI editing and ingenuity... With hell, scenes up to 8k resolution!
Oh yeah? You mean something like this?

I'm actually attempting to see about accomplishing this in one of my games.
Times have changed, and Illusion needs to embrace the modding community in Japan, at the very least...
But it seems they're stuck in their own thing which is fine by me. For the gaming experience though, I'll be sure when I have the time to try their games again, as I'll still always be that Illusion fanboy deep down too...
Maybe not quite entirely embracing, more like looking the other way... Same goes for visual novels utilizing their copyrighted assets right? To truly embrace the community Illusion needs to make a hub of sorts for us folk that are too old to go digging around for stuff on various sites, and allowing proper collaboration and a toolkit supporting the addition of content like MeshedVR is soon accomplishing.... Still, considering the western political climate and how they seem to be managing things, this will never occur by my own honest opinion.I don't know about Illusion not embracing the modding community. As for custom animations, people just use Studio for that.
I understand your point of view, you are one of those who will defend and justify what he loves to the last. Yes, illusion games were good at one time, it was the level they aspired to. But they stopped developing, their games copy what was over and over again in their predecessors. Their games would be dead without mods, so why don't they seek to help those who give life to their games? How old is AG3? if you put mods on it, it will be much better than HS1 or HS2 without mods.TLDR: You have no argument.
Illusion Soft does not make mods and they have no obligation to support such while their choice for IL2CPP is smart because it utilizes computer hardware better thus there are a dozen characters in Casino map with few males present.
KK is as close as you're ever going to get to an AA3. That's like asking for RapeLay to come back: both have been superseded. Honestly I wasn't that impressed with AA2 anyway. The character creator was utterly counter-intuitive and the gameplay was just a mess. Koi runs far smoother and the character creator is leagues better and more user-friendly, as evidenced by the vast number of Koi-based AVN's on here versus the nonexistence of ones made with AA2. Just consider AA the prototype version of Koikatu and save yourself some heartbreakShould we still dream about Artificial academy 3? or koikatsu killed that possibility?
Problem with accepting modding community thst it is illegal in Japan even if they wanted to do so in first place and a lot of mods violate copyright so there is also genuine concern about lawsuit if they are perceived as faciliating such.Woah no need to get so mad at people bro, chill... Yikes. You must have popped out of your mother or father's pussy yesterday to think that Illusion changed anything significant with their track record. You judge a game based on trial that only has character editor without waiting for game release to judge gameplay. Idiocy.

maggot bait are one of those pretty fucked up one. It's funny how Rapelay was considered the one of the most offensive game in the old days and now it's not even top 10 in the most fucked up game you can play.

All you people like you is demonstrate detachment from reality by refusing to inform yourself.Yikes. You must have popped out of your mother or father's pussy yesterday to think that Illusion changed anything significant with their track record.
But why? With simple drawings it is easier to avoid uncanny valley but toon with many details have the same risks than realistic.Character looks a bit too realistic for that.
I don't like it. My appeal of Illusion was that they had the perfect balance between anime and toon.
Too realistic like that and it gets into uncanny valley territory, like Daz Genesis and Genesis 2 figures back then. Hell, even now DAZ figures are still a bit into uncanny valley, but some devs are very good at mitigating it.
Let's hope some of that talent forks over this, then.
That's the thing, pretty much. Toon normally doesn't have too much detail. Just enough to be good looking but not enough to emulate reality. That's the whole point. Extremely detailed toons also look very bad. Too much in case, is like not enough. But why? Me too I wanted a AA3I thought they were working on a possible AA3 but with this my hopes are deep down now.
This game seems good by the way.
