The trace log you posted is not really helpful, so it would be difficult for anyone to offer you any solution. It is missing some vital information like:
1. The context
What were you doing when the error occurred? If I have to guess, you were trying to load a save or saving? I played this game and I don't have issue saving or loading.
2. Game details
Are you playing the official version linked in the OP or the compressed version?
Which Operating System are you using?
Did you apply any of the unofficial incest patch?

Other than that, it seems to be this issue is very isolated and specific to your setup because no one else has reported this on this thread.

It may be the version of renpy you are using. try using a higher version than the one you are currently using, or vice versa.

What can I say? A completed game where two characters have close enough hair color. Fated moved me, I was but an instrument.

If you don't like the one line of "childhood friends" here is a fix, copy/replace the file in the game folder, instead that one line will "say family"...

Here is a mild rewrite of the script that turns the story to that of an estranged brother-sister pair.
