Sadly, I've already come across most of these in my search. Thanks anyway, though. Also, I feel like more people need to look at flash games. Some of them are incredible, and many of the current major studios got their start there.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I do sort particularly small games into a separate folder per month-ish so if you're not focused on trains I could probably recommend some more but listing them by w/e name I have them saved as is probably not significantly faster than searching on you own.

On flash though, yeah, it's a damn shame they closed it down so aggressively. There still is no comparable language/community for small indie developers; so much small off-the-wall games got made in flash. Crimson Keep, in my sig, was made by one of the last developers I know to have been making high quality porn games in flash up until it's untimely murder; though like most such devs he's switched to unity now and has a new project out.

Sorry, I don't really know why that would be. I downloaded and ran a fresh copy and it seems to be working fine for me. The "ManualTranslation.txt" file in BeepInEx/Translation/en/Text I think contains all of the manually translated lines and should be fairly complete, while anything new should be done automatically as long as you have a live internet connection. I don't know that much about BeepInEx, having only used/modified what other people have already put together, so I suppose it's possible you could block it's internet access via a firewall or something so it wouldn't auto-translate even if you had an internet connection. The manual translation is mostly complete, though, so if you're seeing a lot of japanese text something else is probably wrong; when I was monkeying around merging different version of the game some attempts did give a lot of japanese text even with a manual translation file "installed" so I think some files can override the manual translation. Were you using a pure version of the download BlueFireNick posted or have you previously run a different version?
Thanks for responding!
Yes I did install the BlueFireNick version after the original one from this thread, but since then I've tried installing the Nick one again in various ways, non of which worked. (Oh yea I should probably mention I am running on Linux, so that could be the issue)
I've tried running in different compatibility modes of bottles (windows emulator sort of, it's basically a different version of wine), I've tried installing reipatcher in both the base and Nick version, before and after deleting the BepInEx folder, and I've tried disabling firewall but it seems Linux doesn't really have one. It has IP tables instead and I'm not sure what to do with those... So do you have any other ideas on potential fixes, or other versions I could try? I guess the issue could also be that Japanese locale thingy I haven't tried to install yet. Anyways, if nothing else works then it's probably just a Linux problem and I'll just try a windows machine instead

how does your game folder looks inside?
I'll go over the major differences between the original and the BlueFireNick version.

Missing:
New Save Dev Mode Unlocked folder
Patchers in BepInEx folder
OldAutogeneratedtrans.txt in en folder
_AutoGeneratedTranslations - Copy.txt in en folder

Added:
A lot of files added in the folder Text
In the Plugins folder:
[ ModImages folder
DumbRenderDemosaic.dll
Texture_Replacer.dll ]
Bunch of dll files in BepInEx, aswell as a README.MD about demosaic
There's a Translation Notes.txt in the main folder

Also, a decent amount of files have different file sizes. About 20% or so.

backup the .txt files (and whole folder to be safe) with translations, and delete the bepinex folder, then reinstall it and X Autotranslator

then paste the .txt with the translations and run the game, should work then. Problem has to be with bepinex cuz it doesnt show translation on demand

Hmm, yeah, see if lemywinks's solution does something for you. Linux is decidedly NOT windows and even with WINE or equivalent little plays well between the two. I haven't run a linux machine in more than ten years, though, so I really don't know much about getting modern windows executables to run on linux systems.

oh i didnt saw the part about him running Linux. That could be the whole issue, I have no idea if Bepinex nor Autotranslator work on Linux, cuz the Autotranslator is coded to get online and prompt a website/server for translations, so maybe that doesn't work properly on Linux?

honestly no idea, cuz Linux is a whole world in itself. Best bet would be to check first if those programs are compatible with Linux or of something else or a tweak need to be made
