Somehow funny, that one of my first beloved h-games will be also one of my first one star reviews. Most of the stuff has been already coverd by man others. Story is alright, charakters are medicroe etc. It's an h-game after all, don't ecpect to much.

What killed me was the newly released "gold" edition. Let's not talk about the bugs, the blackscreens, the autosafe, that litterlay overwrites your last saves instead of having an own slot. No.

Let's talk about AI. For a game, that makes cloese to 20k Dollar a month using soulless AI to "improve" the artstyle of the game is somehow ridiculous funny. They literally killed their own heart with this shit. Not to mention, that the AI prompts are sooo freaking bad, every ten year old could do it better. The penis of the prota looks like some bad dragon dildo, the faces looks like someone sucked their sould out etc. I'm not general against AI, but here the person who used it had absolutly no clue how to do a prompt.

So do yourselfs a favour and skip this shit.

Roundscape Adorevia 6.1 is an excellent game in terms of content. In terms of fetishes, it explores many of them in a funny way. Basically, you can find a bit of everything and choose to be part of everything and everyone. I really have no complaints about the ecchi aspect of the game, it's excellent. I think the content is very polished, and I don't mind that the art is sometimes inconsistent. In fact, I prefer it that way to avoid getting bored of the same type of art. However, now there's AI-generated art that doesn't fit well.

However, in terms of gameplay, the game has many problems. Most of the team's abilities are useless. It's only necessary for the protagonist to hit quickly, hard, twice, and hit all the enemies, while the team members just need to resist hits. The dungeons are difficult to navigate due to unnecessary dark fog, the maps don't make sense either in terms of navigation or aesthetics. The morality and corruption systems are wasted, getting new weapons with mediocre enhancements or no special abilities to differentiate them, all this undermine everything that the exploration of fetishes achieved through art. Not to mention certain bugs.

In summary, it's a very good game deserving of 5 stars, but it has a combat and navigation system that doesn't function as it should. It would benefit from a redesign, as simply adding more content doesn't make it more enjoyable, especially drift away from AI-generated art. Also needs a new game+ option to play as male/female once you have finished the game.

Wow, This used to be one of my fav H-games, the game i would point to to say "If you want a quality example of a indie game, there it is", but now... I can't even bring myself to play this garbage. They made the early game combat worse by a larg margin, having to run back to bas to heal after every fight is NOT good game design. For some obscure reason they decided to replace random cgs... GOOD cgs, with AI generated, soul-less garbage. And yes, instead of fixing bugs, just added more to the pile. MIght be even worse than I think though, don't know, stopped re-playing it when I saw my favourite scene was assimilated by the borg.

I came back to this game after a long absence, hoping it would be new again. The reason I left is because I felt the main story was already complete, but was becoming bloated with patreon-pleasing DLC addons while neglecting areas already present yet clearly incomplete. When developers go off their roadmap like this is when I stop following them.

Since my old saves were no longer valid, I started with a reproduction of my first character. But the early game grind is like nothing I remember, it wasn't this difficult to achieve enough survivability to get the plot rolling! This game padding is more excusable when content is still lean, but now that there's a wealth of content and little reason to morsel it out, it's pretty despicable.

Ruined a classic. 2 stars, not 1, because I would have given it a 4 last year, and I'm a sap like that.

Game used to be one of the biggest, most innovative lewd games on RPGMaker. Sure it had inconsistent art, and was generally not 100% polished, but it was pretty damn good. They should have just left it alone like they said they would.

Consistent plotlines, creative party members and interactions. For it's time, it really stepped up and delivered where most games this expansive and lofty would have given up a third of the way through. For a generic fantasy game, it was fucking dope man.

Had a pretty fun combat mechanic, with lots of classes that were easy to find, and a couple that were pretty rp/quest specific that felt really cool to uncover and learn to use! Plus, it had potential for breaking wide open if you abused cores/glyphs to make some insane builds, for those who wanted to just nuke combat and get right to fuckin'. A *wide* swathe of kinks and possible scenes for a variety of playstyles and preferences. You could really have a great time no matter what you were into.

This last update really kicked the dead horse into a paste. They somehow multiplied the bugs ad infinitum, smeared a learning algorithm over the more questionable art and made it bland shit, and made the whole thing an effort in futility to even care about. I truly cannot quantify just how disappointed I am. It's so bad, I regret ever caring or supporting this game on Patreon.

Rest in piss, Kal. Hope your next project bombs.

Roundscape Adorevia has been a completed game for quite some time. It's a huge game, and despite being completed, it always had more updates pumped out. It didn't really matter because what previously existed was still there, and the game was and is quite fun, with several different ways to play (that are really not that different further down the line but that make for an interesting attempt and will at least get you to play the beginning a couple times).

The complaints Adorevia always has had for me were two: the art was noticeably inconsistent, and with several differing art styles, to the point that it was very hit or miss whether you'd like the art in a scene you were waiting for which could ruin the experience - which is tolerable and easily understood on such a massive game that is also several years old; and the combat being a bit too weird or grindy at times.

I don't hate AI and I frankly don't give a shit whether or not you use it or not in your games, development, or whatever else you want. However, it is undeniable that AI art is consistently not of the same quality as an actual artist, particularly on details.

Swapping existing, good art for AI art is simply making a conscious effort to make your game worse. Roundscape Adorevia has suffered with massive art discrepancies since forever, and the AI art change doesn't even fix all of them either way, so now not only is the art still in discrepancy, but you've also turned some of it into worse versions; or, even if the same or marginally better in the opinion of some, you still got rid of the old one forever for little to no reason while fixing absolutely none of the other issues in the game.

As such, there is no other way to treat this update (6.1) than as a step backwards.

The game was great, had a whole lot of soul. Then they release the final "final" version replacing original art with AI art.

Sure it comes down to preference, but why would you have a completed game, with all that drawn original art, then spit in the face of those artists by recreating it with ai, and not even provide the option to allow people to play with the original art. It's just stealing all the soul from the game.

Do yourself a favor and redownload v5.8b before it's gone.

Used to love this game, though I will say I haven't and probably never will finish it. The beginning of the game has become such a slog, and it's worse every time a major update comes out. It boggles my mind that this game gets consistently worse the more it's worked on. Vestigial systems, poorly thought out bloat, incomplete proofreading (on old content and even in the origin they just added), and on and on.
And on top of all of that:
I cannot believe that someone had that thought "lets feed all the art through an AI to enforce a coherent visual style" and they actually went through with it.
They've made the game look objectively worse. Did they simply not want to pay an artist to redo a scene, or did they think people would be impressed?

Used to be one of my favorite games, I've replayed it 3 times and easily have over a 120 hours in playtime but 6.0 ruined a lot of the visuals of this game. The ai art is not only tasteless (I love seeing seeing the different artists versions and how the style changes over time and some artists work does it more for me, it's a great system) but the ai art is also just plain awful. Some scenes make me physically uncomfortable to look at and most just have nothing going for it. I'd rather there be no art at all over this garbage. If they change this back I'd be happy to review it 5 stars and try to play it again. The gallery is a huge mess, combat for the mage class is way way too grindy. Just made me quit. I won't be trying any more of the 6.0 content and I have refunded my sub on their Patreon until they at least fix the art.

So the game was good... Emphasis on "was".
6.0 ruined the entire thing, AI art replacing the original art in a lot of scenes and those scenes getting infinitely worse because of it. The characters lose all their expressiveness and the art look incredibly uncanny in general.
The gameplay is an unbalanced mess, regular enemies in the beginning of the game taking ages to kill and mana running out so fast you spend more time in the inn than doing the already monotonous jrpg gameplay.
Also the game's a buggy fucking mess now.
All this combined with how awful Arenus is makes it clear that the dev just doesn't give a fuck any more.

This game always had many flaws but despite incredible jank and bugs everywhere, it had a SOUL.
Well, the pathetic cuck developer by some detached train of thought decided it's a good idea to get rid of that one thing as well by replacing old art with AI generated shit, with no option to toggle it.

    Don't even bother.

One of the games of the ages. Truly one of the games of the ages. The best game of the ages. Probably spent about 20 hrs. playing. Wish there was more trap, futanari content though. Love the fact that you can have male or female MC.

Art quality is all over the place if only it was consistent and every sex scene only come with 1-3 picture that basically the same, what make it even annoying is every sex scene have this long ass description where you read and read.
why can't just make each character that involved in the sex speak and describe what are they doing when having sex instead of make a long ass description of what they are doing but with 1-3 image. Should make a variation in each H-scene not just describing with a long ass text saying that they are kissing but actually show that they are kissing and what they doing.
The only thing that is good is the game play is quiet long with lot of character involved if only the art is consistent.

The best RPGMaker game I've ever played. Interesting story, a lot of different quests, nice companions. It was very interesing for me to eplore the map. It would be nice if you could choose a harem root, but still romance with characters is ok.
Thanks to Roundscape for funny experience.

Probably one of the best RPGM game . A game with a good story awesome cgs good characters and a lot of action. You can spent a fuck tone of hours here with multiple endings( that alone makes it even better). Its an actual RPG with character progression and character relesionships with your party members. I highly recommend it. Arvus you made a masterpiece here.

Probably the most mid game I've ever played in my life. It has a lot of content and some different routes to take with characters but as a whole it's just incredibly boring. Combat is boring, the writing feels stilted and robotic with no passion, art quality is all over the place(usually leaning on average), and getting around can be a pain after a certain point.

If I had to sum up the game in one word: Boring.
It feels like a Ubisoft game. Tries to do everything, and as a consequence isn't really good at anything.

Quite big for a hentai game with some issues.
First the serious issues: No established artstyle or as it seems, no hired artist who takes care of the hentai work which results with all of the scenes been done with many different artstyles or a singular with some being really great to some being outright terrible.
This in turn will mean theres a chance a scene with a specific context you might like will be done in a artstyle you might either like or hate.
This to some might be a good thing because it might increase the chances of a high number of people enjoying the scenes without having to hire an artist but also sets the game with random ones that might chase people away which in my case for the stuff I liked the artstyles overall were good but I bet for some other people's liking it would likely not be the case.
Another major issue is scenes locked or lost depending on game progression/choices that will require you to see a guide in order not to lose or be very very careful as to make sure you don't miss them if you know how to trigger them. This wastes time for no reason and the only solution is having access to the gallery which will require a completed game with having the scenes done (as far as I know, no manual scene unlock exists). And without a guide youre out of luck and have to figure out the way yourself.
Now with this out of the way lets go over the lesser issues but nonetheless not good ones.
The game size is quite big and in some cases way too big especially in some missions were you are required to do multiple steps in order to reach the final point. Unlike some other hentai games were they are too short this is too big with many choices that might lock you out of preferred outcomes. Again not an issue to someone that knows their stuff (in my case I didnt have trouble for I knew which leads to where) but to someone unaware it would cause some issues.
Now some good stuff : the story isn't nonsensical (like most porn games) and the scenes are quite good (if coupled with good art style). The writing is alright for the most part and the combat+map design isn't too complicated (though some maps will have you say "they could be smaller"). For those wishing to experience this game like actually playing its quite enjoyable and challenging at times to the point theres a sense of reward. And the ability to allow the player to build stuff is also a nice addition. Unlike some other hentai games playing this one to see the scenes, instead of where you install a save and unlock the gallery, is a acceptable option if you want to spent the long playing time it provides and you enjoy the gameplay. In short if you don't have a problem spending average 50 hours of playtime, feel free to play it.

Overall I would rate it at 3.5 stars if I could.

pretty solid game, but with how long it is, it really isnt good enough.

the quest bug out, so i had to use a walkthrough.

most importantly, the sex scenes are just kinda boring. its usually 2 still images. good images, but still just 2.

overall its worth a few hours, but not a full playthrough

    The good:
-Lots and lots of content. The main story is relatively short, but there are hundreds of side quests and mini quests, not to speak of the three DLCs.
-Name a fetish you like. This game has it.
-Decent story (up to act 2). It's the usual stopping-the-dark-lord plot, which is executed well.
-(Major) characters have solid, consistent personalities (Tishtyra being morally very good, for example)
    The bad:
-The whole world feels rather isolated to major events. A literal dark god went kaput and not a single guy in summeredge is talking about it. It's as if the dark god going kaput doesn't really matter at all.
-Very strange character development, mostly about Meredith. In the prologue she's a simple shopkeeper, several quests later she's fucking a horse. And a dog. I'm all for corruption, but this was waaay too fast and unexplainable.
-Bugs and typos (in my experience mostly minor, but annoying nevertheless).
-Act III is just total nonsense in my opinion. In Act II Murkhal is kaput, that should be the end of the main story. Meanwhile, in Act III, we're treated to a bunch of courtly intrigue set up by those who took Murkhal's shards (or something like that), which is totes fine if only there were some groundwork done for that on the previous Acts. Nobody knows what Cinkahn or Yakotin even is before Act III. Act III should just be a DLC like Emek's Rest, then maybe it can work.

    Personal pet peeves and comments:
-For goodness' sake, the protagonist killed the freaking death god. You know, the god whose faction was kicking the wood elves' arses, manipulated the dwarves, sowing discord among the nexilim, and so on? And those council-of-whatever in Cinkahn had the galls to taunt the protagonist.
-Very weird distribution of repeatable sex scenes. You'd think repeatables are reserved for main characters like Meredith, Ruksana, or Clawyn, but no, the (as far as I know) three characters who get repeatable sex scenes are:
    1. The unnamed slave you get after becoming wrath
    2. Farm origin mom
    3. Some ancient dwarf sex robot
EDIT: Alright, I did find a few more, with similarly strange distribution:
    4. Threesome with the Succubus and Rulwe
    5. Meredith's titjob
    6. Xyless slave throne scene
-Would really like to see other factions' fight against Murkhal. We know the wood elves were fighting a losing battle against Murkhal and the (good) orcs are fighting the bad orcs (until the orcs just said, 'fuck it' and rebelled), but what about factions like the Church in Vesunna, or Novos and Orilise (after their situations were resolved)?
-Some quests make sense. Become Wrath (an orc champion) and you get some gold, bed that you never use because you have a freaking castle, and a slave. Some don't, like how to get enough loan money to rebuild a ruined city you just need to ... go down a mine and grab three crystals. Yeah. Sure.

There's a lot of content in the game, but it's not very straightforward on how to get there. There's alot of game to unpack, but it feels disjointed at times. The gameplay is similar to an open-world and you explroe but a lot of times i felt that I was spending more time walking around than progressing the story
