So yeah I did see (and I don't now if this is true or not) that the version of the game here is not the final version so I want to say that would explain the bug...? I did kind of have a moment of realization that the perk I got might have bugged the game a bit so now no one can equip a shield even the dwarf I recruited did not have one equiped when he joined me.

In other news I think I have a quest I can't complete, the one where you talk to Titania at Summeredge and she wants you to go do something in Novos and THEY want you to go gather three crystal's, I can only get two well the third one just sit's there taunting me. Anyone else encounter this?

I'm not sure entirely what's up with the dual-wielding perk. I know years ago it got reworked a bit for game balance and bugs. But I've never directly looked at the code for it. I try to avoid it, unless I'm having my companions go all in on damage. And if you can't get them shields, try to find the best armor and upgrade that with glyphs/marks/etc...

You should be able to get all the crystals. I think there might even be four available to get. But yeah I've encountered that before where one crystal has a weird hit box and doesn't register you getting it. Make sure to try all the caves, and try and walk around/click on the crystal from different angles and positions. If you still can't get it then let me know. You can upload your save here, and I can have a go at it for you.

If it's a mod problem go to Redknight's mod thread. Post there not here. You would find you're not the only one with that problem.

Yes, a long time ago there was an android port. However since this game is so large it can't really be ported any more.


Have you tried using the debug stone on yourself? Black screens occur for a few different reasons. One being the the game had issues loading a map, just a nature of a RPGMaker game sometimes, and can it be refresh with the debug stone or a console command(if you have developer tools). Some black screens are legitimate corrupted maps, through a corrupted download, or that have to be fixed by the developer. However I've never encountered a bug like that for where you are. If your PC specs are old, or slow, the computer might be having trouble loading Roundscape properly. (Rather than the game being the issue).

If you still have a problem after using the debug stone let me know. We can try some other things.


Up/down arrows to adjust pick, and left/right arrows to rotate lock, are how you use lockpicking in this game. Do you have enough lockpicks as well? I think the game only lets you start out with one to begin with.

YEs I have two lockpicks. Can someone please share a video on how to lockpick.
How do we know till what level we have to use up down arrow and then at what level do we have to rotate? I have taken all the 3 lockpick perks but to no avail.

For the castle? if you've recruited the succubus already,move back into the castle and talk to the butler. Hope that helps, if it's one of the few soft lock bugs that I haven't experienced, all I can say is restart it. Save early and often.

The game has been in development for years. During that time the devs had team expansions, more patron money, better workflow, etc... So over time the game's 2d image artwork got streamlined to a few select artists. You'll find a larger variety of artwork in the the early parts of the game. While the newer additions, updates, and DLCs have more artwork consistency.
