This game really needs a harem ending, if the dev team doesn't include one this shit is going to be a Kamidori level blunder.
It's not so much salt on his part so much as this little thing called pattern recognition. A whole lot of content got added with this update for example, and I can assure you that means lots of bugs. Oh and also the fact that Kaliyo's patreon is bringing in nearly 18000$ and they still will likely have buggy releases that tends to tick people off just a bit.
Why so salty man? ::|:
Even in AAA games that have dozens or hundreds of people and a budget on the millions you can still find plenty of bugs on release. That is not pattern recognition, that is just being unfair and salty.It's not so much salt on his part so much as this little thing called pattern recognition. Yeah well, you know what else AAA games have? Day one patches that fix a lot of the bugs. Are you seriously telling me that a permanent team of a few people getting paid nearly 18 thousand US dollars per month can't pitch some money to some people who can bug test their software? A perfect release is impossible, fair enough, but ever since this game changed over to the MV engine there have been problems, and by now they should be capable of fixing at least some of them early.Even in AAA games that have dozens or hundreds of people and a budget on the millions you can still find plenty of bugs on release. Are you kidding right? Take what they need to pay for artists, writters etcetera and most of this money is done really fast. For instance, Seeds of Chaos(another patreon funded game) with a 4.000 dollars budget can only order 2 CG sets per month (or 6 pictures). How do you expect them to hire people to "bug hunt" with such a small budget?Yeah well, you know what else AAA games have? Day one patches that fix a lot of the bugs. Seeds of Chaos is a bit different because the developer for that game put a large investment into it upfront, and in my personal opinion has made some sub-optimal design decisions that have kept his income low. Art expenses depend on who they're commissioning art from, so neither of us can say exactly how much they spend for art on average. That said, I find it rather doubtful that they couldn't find someone willing spend at least a couple days looking for bugs if they gave said someone a few hundred dollars.Are you kidding right? You can't really compare that to a team like CD PROJEKT RED, that spend 81 million dolars to make Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt and had 240 developers working on the game over the course of 3 years. Besides even the mentioned game with that giant amount of money still had a lot of bugs being fixed several months after the release.
By the way, it's not like the devs from Roundscape are sitting on their asses. They did said in the release post they would try to fix any game breaking bug in this update under 48 hours.
Seeds of Cuckoldry is shit, and a good CG piece should be about ~$200 including the lazy cum variants. They could also just have people test an alpha for free it's not like perverts won't be lining up for that gig. For the record the developers intentionally drag out their development as long as possible in order to make as much money as possible. Emek's rest is a month behind schedule as is. The only dev that have seemed to put an effort into appeasing their fans with all the extra dosh is Swegabe who's commissioned several patreon exclusives porno movies, extra artwork, comics and figurines, in addition to shitting out a beta now and then.Are you kidding right? Newest patch fixes the bug that prevented the androgynous guy from getting guards from Summerville once you beat Nero.Does anyone know how to hire guards for Whitemoon Castle? I have the orc girl, but she says we need guards before we train them.
Great job man as always, keep it up!updated OP
