It's one of the greatest games period. There are few games which such a wide variety of women and such well designed ways to get them
That's totally up to you. If you don't want rapey stuff, then don't do rapey stuff.
My understanding was that for progression with certain characters, it's non optional - I'll correct this after I play all paths.

I think you misunderstand the point of this game.
In my opinion, it is NOT about romancing all the girls. Instead, it is about romancing those that you like.
The girls have very different personalities. Some may be very sexually liberated, others may be quite suppressed. Some may fall easily for you, and some may need some, well, "heavy handed convincing" maybe. But maybe not, who knows at this point?
In any case, I am convinced that this game allows the player to pursue those girls he's interested in, while also allowing the player to leave the other girls alone.
Early on, there was a game that many considered NTR (which it wasn't, it was sharing). But what people forget is that that particular girl (like all the girls) is completely optional and if you don't like such "free spirited" women, then don't pursue them.

Yes, both your traits and relationship with Helen do have some influence, though it is not too much. Should pretty much be possible in any case, but which choices are the best might differ a little. Just keep an eye on her reactions to guide your actions.

Pr0GamerJohnny Depends on what you consider rapey, but essentially, each girl should be possible to get on different paths, so you should be able to avoid a scene that you don't like and still be able to get the girl, although it may be harder then. For some girls, there's even more than one path how the romance can turn out (mainly whether you want swinging or not).

Thanks! Now, I was finally able to caress her crotch and her breast. But it still ends the same:
- She gets upset
- She gets tired
- You stop
It would have been nice if there was another way if you "completed" this scene. Or am I still doing something wrong?

I thought I'd done everything right to get the Cat and Katie threesome but I was too low on Katie's score. I was able to go back and work out how to get it and... disappointment.
I also to my surprise find myself a little less interested in Cat. So I guess it's back to the beginning and change my choices. I started again already because somehow I lost all my saves and they were not in my backup, leading me to believe I may have intentionally deleted them to force a restart. But this time while I made good progress with Helen, Anne, and Cat, I missed Rachel entirely. And if it's because I can only pursue two or three, I'd now pick Rachel over Cat.

Actually this variety in the girls is what makes this game stand out, in my opinion.
And I find the dynamic between Cat and Katie, with Cat involving the MC to push Katie along a path of (hopefully well-meaning) corruption, quite hot.

While you won't be able to pursue all girls at the same time, for now I don't think there's much in the way of making progress with both of them.

I was referring to spending time gaining points with Katie that, for me, wasn't rewarding when I did not need to in order to gain points with Cat or get any scenes with her that interest me.
I don't know that this blocked me from scenes with other girls I am more interested in, but I know something in my choices this time around lost me at least one scene with Rachel that I got last time. So I'm going back to try again.

I *think* parts of Texas are still experiencing power outages due to hurricane Beryl. I believe he mentioned he's in eastern Texas. Hopefully that is the only reason and he's okay.
