It's a mix. I haven't counted them all out but off the top of my head I'd say the two protagonists have slightly more (potential) scenes with men than women currently.
Some scenes are optional, but there are some unavoidable scenes/relationships with both men and women.

Ugh. I know. It's taking far too long. I might need to start splitting each act into separate releases again (I actually did this already: Brigitte's story is already out for paid patrons - <hint><hint>) but we are getting there. All of the writing a and coding is done. Still working on renders, then comes testing...ah well. It will be ready. Promise.

I suppose Simon isn't too bad, compared to some of the other mandatory relationships, he's just a bit wet.
And it's somewhat odd to have Genevieve and Brigitte discussing someone else as a love interest, if you've chosen for them to have just made out immediately before that.
The game says Esther's exhibitionist streak has given her an idea even if she hasn't indulged in it enough for it to be an option, which seems a bit odd, but I guess it works.
Then a few moments after, her and Nola will talk about how she's definitely an out-and-proud exhibitionist regardless of this.
A couple of lines that are a bit long for the text box. Could probably do with being divvyed up:
The extended sequence of Esther having actual human interactions with her peers at the inn is something I've been missing on my playthrough (as they've mostly been exclusive to one of her two paths up to this point), but because I haven't seen much of them so far I don't remember who most of these people are or how they relate to each other. This is probably less of an issue if one is playing through the game for the first time in one sitting, and isn't hindered by my pisspoor memory.
I think you can avoid some encounters, but not 100% sure if it can be done with all. And some paths will put you in situation where it's unavoidable, "for the plot".
It's curious, I don't remember when Brigette showed any interest in Simon either. I've just tried to be nice to him. Well, I hope that when the moment of truth comes, they give me the option to reject him, otherwise, what a bummer.
Don't worry, my emerald-haired elf, Brigette knows what she wants.
