what, the plugin?

the rar file double click and click option tab just name encode it to 932 or what ever it is for japanese shift what i did to get it to work

I managed with the plugin by changin the name, but now image wont load. Seriously, did anyone actually managed to turn this game on?
The image is in Titleset1 and it's rpgmvp file and it's supposed to be png

To Name encode.

- Double click the .RAR file
- Select the folder in the .RAR file
- Select Options -> Name Encoding (CTRL+E) -> 932 ANSI/OEM Japanis
- Extract the file
- Now the game works

unsure - I havent got 7-zip, and I didnt know about this until jadesh12 spoke about it - so I just did what he wrote and tried it out - and working

Might just download winrar for this if 7-zip doenst help out :-/

edit: using bandizip, you can open the zip-file, and in the upper right you can select which language to encode it with

Same with winrar and i would guess that 7zip can do that too.

Anyway, how is the gama?

7zip does not have an encoding method though the File Manager, you need to use the command prompt with 7zip to change the encoding language. Another method is using Notepad++, copying the names of the files over to a blank file, and then changing the encoding method to japanese.

Edit: never mind, that did not work.
