Any news on the testing phase? We're in the testing phase for our translation. All images have been translated as well (there were over 450, it was a very painful experience).
Thank you for your hard work, soldierO&M is working on it. Even though The High School Girl Spy's Undercover Investigation is less buggy then the prior two games there are still a lot of bugs to correct.
Also, there is some confusion from the author nullnullfullido Japanese usage too, so it's a slow process.
O&M's and Grills deserve all the credit.Thank you for your hard work, soldier
Yo - I don't know where you got that copy but it's been mangled pretty badly. There was an update to Fixed a bug that caused the game tempo to drop significantly when the cut-in display setting was changed to "Slow"" today April 16, 2025. I post a new Mega link, same place as before on the 3rd post on the first page.
Also, I sent the file Link directly to group working on the English translation.
From the DLsite directly. If you just try to run the game as is, it will not work. You have to extract the game twice and copy the Japanese Audio files to the copy extracted regularly in Winrar to get it run properly.Yo - I don't know where you got that copy but it's been mangled pretty badly.
Looks like someone decompressed and recompressed it without appropriate locale settings.
It does not correspond to whats on dlsite.
I have it on DLSsite, and the copy you posted is completely effed and does not match at all. From the DLsite directly. If you just try to run the game as is, it will not work. That is the only 'change' I made to it beside the money hack.
If you want the original copy to mess around with the extraction process yourself, I'll put it in the third post, but that has nothing to do with how glitchy the game is. The author method of game creation is very messy unfortunately. It took them a year to get all the bugs out of there first game, and the 2nd game is still broken in parts.
I can confirm that the unchanged version you uploaded recently works fine when extracted. The one you personally extracted with garbled text cannot run and I have my windows set in Japan Locale.Probably not, at this point, I'm not expecting anything from anyone.
Personally, I understand why there is has been no English translation released O&M's and Grills, because there would be a thousand complaints from poster like you gantos about the bugs.
I don't see how my fix for making the game run is causing grief with the translation. You get the exact same bug trying to run the game extracting with 7zip.
Try it for yourself, as I said before, I add the unchanged version in a Gofile link, first page, third post.
Sorry for going slightly off topic, but I'm genuinely curious about what makes 7zip (the app, not the format) better than WinRar.WTF are you using winrar? It is not 2003. For the love of gord, Use 7zip.
Did not claim a virus to be present in your upload, just saying that the untouched one you uploaded from Dlsite works and the other one doesn't. It just so happened that that is the default error message lmao.My windows is not set to Japanese Local, that is the difference. There is no virus in those file Nick_1357.
As someone who contributes on fan translations (including two O&Ms also contributed to) you are imagining a scenario that does not exist....Personally, I understand why there is has been no English translation released O&M's and Grills, because there would be a thousand complaints from poster like you gantos about the bugs.
Basically everything:Sorry for going slightly off topic, but I'm genuinely curious about what makes 7zip (the app, not the format) better than WinRar.
Guess so...As someone who contributes on fan translations (including two O&Ms also contributed to) you are imagining a scenario that does not exist....
Congrats bro!Sorry for the lack of updates.
I have been working directly with the developer on an official release.
For the past week or so, he has been personally testing the translation, so we will most likely have additional bug fixes that were not done by a third party.
An official announcement has not been posted yet, but the expected release date is May 1st.
