It's your fault with coming up with a story that is better than porn! There are games which somehow get a 4+ rating here, I download them and after a few minutes turn on "Skip unseen text". Now that's a sad turn of events.

Interesting choice of (retro, of course) background music. My dad used to have "Porque te vas" on a compact cassette, one of many I kept playing endlessly. I never heard the song for decades after that, until it suddenly popped up a year or two ago in "Debris" (shame it got canceled)... and now, it nods at me again in this game. *Sigh*. Quite a haunting blast from the past...

Unfortunately, we will never know what could have been the first version of Stalker, conceived by Tarkovsky.
However, the final version of the movie is still very good.

I've heard there were about half a dozen film scripts written by Strugatsky brothers themselves for this film. Still, Tarkovky selected something different.
I also heard that when the film shooting was nearly complete, an accident had ruined almost all shot material, so Tarkovsky had to remake the whole film with like one tenth of the remaining money. That's why it looks such low budget but also so inventive.
