Like that's never stopped Japanese companies from trying. No matter where you are in the world, a lot of companies, especially Japanese ones, are RUTHLESS when it comes to copyright.

You can try to fight it on grounds of fair use, but one way or another, they will always get what they want in the end.

Their preferred method for awhile has been to keep appealing the cases with their near limitless funds until the lowly person daring to stand up to them is financially incapable of fighting back and giving up. Toei has recently started doing things that completely circumvent international copyright laws by filing lawsuits in Japan or some shit, making it completely impossible for foreigners to even attempt to fight.

Nintendo notoriously bought out the rights to pornographic Mario parody movies in the 90s just to try to scrub them from existence.

Again, one way or another, the copyright holders ALWAYS get what they want. The best you can hope for is that they choose not to make an example of you by suing your entire bloodline into destitution for generations for "damages"
