Overview:
In Salvor DEEP you play as a Salvor dispatcher.
With money dwindling fast you decide to spend the last of your cash on a new diving pod. Now you can only afford a first-time volunteer salvor. She has no experience with these sunken wrecks and is somehow even more broke than you. She will rely on you to guide and teach her about the art of salvaging.
Under-equipped and broke, your job is to protect her (or don't) from the various pirates, hazards, and creatures that lurk in these ancient wrecks.​

I've never seen something like this before, sucks that people wasted their money on Sunken Veil only for it to end up being an incomplete reskin of this game. Atp I'm not holding out hope for the third project, but we'll just have to see if it goes anywhere.

Is... is there more context I'm missing? All I know is, sequel was made, ???, thread locked. Now looking at Sunken Veil's reviews, apparently it's more of a mod than a fangame, just adds more H scenes while using everything else from the original game. Also people don't like how it gave no credit to Salvor Deep at all. Num deleted their socials and nuked the discord, then disappeared. Just checked, on the thread's Dev notes spoiler, it gives credit, but inside the game no credit is given. The hell happened?

Edit: Nevermind. Turns out the Cheat Table link on the Sunken Veil thread sends you to a different thread talking about it, since the original got locked. The situation was explained there.

What the fuck is going on?

The femboy diver was announced months ago, the protag is still female.

Someone close to the lead developer passed away so she decided to quit development.

The other devs decided to keep on going, and from what I recall though she went a bit scorched earth with deleting the original discord she's welcome back if she ever wishes to rejoin after she's had time to grieve.

Num3 briefly popped into the new discord back when it was first made and made it clear she doesn't plan to come back. She basically had an identity crisis after the passing of someone close, and in her words (i don't remember it exactly) "I don't want the one great thing I do be a porn game." To be fair, this was like a day or two after the person's passing, but I doubt she'll be back.

Not gonna lie, this game feels like a downgrade both in graphics and optimization, I don't know what happened but I can't play this when the game is this laggy.

So far playing the game, I enjoyed it a little bit here and there, the concept is quite good, but regarding of the content with the salvor, is there anything else besides some images of her doing tasks or being groped/interrupted by the other salvors? or it just repeats itself over and over again?

Each level has new images (along side reused ones) but the game does get a little repetitive.
