Yes, you need the RPG Maker addon or plugin and install or set up the engine in Joiplay.

Note : the top parameter raising if the party kill the monsters or get harrasment. Despite that, even you keep this parameter low. Sana will visit the NPC. So NTR is can can't be avoidable. If this parameter high, sana will be rarely at house.

NTR can be avoided, when Sana goes to other places nothing happens unless you watch the scene, if you watched the scene only then the NTR progress, Nampa Beach has the same mechanic in this regard. In Nampa Beach you can see the other 2 guys roaming around the girls, but their relation will only progress if you go to talk to a girl that is together with one of the other 2 guys.
The other 2 things you need to do to avoid NTR, is to avoid the guy that spawns in town after you defeated him and avoid recruiting the other guy to your party.
