1) What does the stat button actually show? When I hit on it at the start is say 0% for all girls. Is this the relationship status? If so I thought this should this be 50% at the start?

As you guessed, it is the relationship status. the other scores are love for Rion, Maddie, and Nora, or Mystic (evil) points for Foxy

2) Also what does affinity check reference? The relationship status?

This is when the game checks the scores for each character to decide which story path to take you to, so normally this means the story will branch off to a path set specifically for the person with the highest affinity percentage, or highest Love score, or in some cases, your evil score.

It is also shown occasionally when the game checks if a girls scores are high enough to play out some specific scene variations.

This is true. There is a My Two Moms ending, but I wouldn't call that a harem.

whatever you prefer more - it is up to you/mc.
you can choose to steal gf from your buddy (your old school crash), you can watch girls around you being fucked by natural and supernatural "locals" if that is your kink, or you can go for single chicks with no netori/netorare...

I am not saying you have to follow that path, you can avoid it. You can end it with only dance scene too, so light NTR I suppose. Also dev cut NTR content down with last update, I am aware of that too. But dude asked NTR stuff and this was in the game.

For this scene, depends on the options you chose MC can die and we will have game over there, or negotiate to she dances then you will have another option for things to escalate.

if you did i, that was your choice/path only, and this game has more than a few paths, as i have pointed above.

Oh cool, I edited the post. NTR is avoidable and with the last update there is almost no NTR, I thought he asked NTR options.

That's all you need to do. When starting a new game, after you choose whether or not to rename the MC, If you see a screen with 5 choices similar to the screenshot below:

the mod is installed correctly, if you don't see five choices, the files haven't been placed in the right folder.

Once you have made the choice to tell the walkthrough which path you want to follow, you just need to play the game, and when you get to the first choice:

either "DISCUSS THOSE OLD BOOKS" or "MAKE SOME JOKES" one of them should be highlighted green

Unless you chose the evil path, in that case the first option would be "TELL HER MADDIE WAS NOT THE REASON FOR YOUR POSITIVE ANSWER" during the second choice.

This is because you have done Maddies Ending F, which is itself, part of Ending M. The walkthrough is then set up to guide you to Ending D if you choose Maddie again, and once you have done Ending D, it will always guide you to Ending M every time after that.

The Sequence for the endings in order are:

Rion = "Ending T", followed by "Ending L", and then "Ending R" each time after
Maddie = "Ending F", followed by "Ending D", and then "Ending M" each time after
Nora = "Ending P", followed by "Ending S", and then "Ending N" each time after
Foxy = "Ending B", followed by "Ending E", followed by "Ending A", and then "Ending B" each time after

I hope this info clears things up for you.
