To get to the "battlefuck" content, do I just have to lose a bunch first like in Karryn's Prison? Or for now is it just attacking?

TL;DR : Corruption is faster, tighter and more specialized. Also skill tree reworks, new maps and a boss.
Next month is another full art month, as the cycle dictates. If there's time left at the end of the month more maps/progression.

Updated Links in the OP soon.

While the new anti-corruption skills are a welcome addition, I think they could honestly do with a bit more of a buff. Paying 8-10 emotion for a mins 5-10% to an individual corruption is REALLY expensive, especially when you have to essentially spam health or endurance recovery for 15 a pop just to break even with what a few enemies able to act can put out.

It ends up with Saria running out of emotion after just the first fight or two against multi-enemies if you are trying to keep these in check, and that is even at a VERY uncorrupted level at the near beginning, nevermind dealing with it after sensitivities and corruption bases go up.

My disgustingly humble 2 cents on possible changes:

In a seperate comment as well, I truly do believe you have the potential to be the next Karryn's Prison here, and it is absolutely commendable that you are doing and dispensing it for free with only the mid-month updates locked behind a Patreon paywall. I know speaking about paying for games and smut is often shunned and frowned upon on this pirate site of all places, but I do think you are selling yourself and your work short for $1 access to the tier, it's at least 1/3 of what most would have as a minimum tier, and that is for terrible games with nowhere near the quality of this one. I never thought I would be complaining a game in development is "too cheap" on a forum with Eroscamcer and all the other patreon leeches, but I would hate to see development on this abruptly stop due to the lack of funds when you could easily increase that tier to $3 and I imagine most of your current $1 patrons would still be happy to consider that fine to pay.

If you are still adamant in keeping it as freely accessible as possible, with your comment alongside this release of "yet another full art month", maybe it might be worth consideration having a $3 or adding to your $5 tier a poll each month before the full art months? What I mean as a specific example, is your $5 tier patrons have access to a poll, where they can vote on which of the 8 corruptible body parts (V, A, B, abs, armpits etc.) or boss type they would like to see focused on next. Then when the month is done and the full art month comes around, the most voted strive for 3 images, the second most voted strive for 2, and the third most voted strive for 1. Or if this workload is too much, 2 for first place, 1 for second and third place gets priority next time, that's on you but you get the idea; the most voted gets art preference, and the people who voted but didn't get first place still get something to be happy about.

Thank you for the 0.4 and hotfix! As always I personally retain high hopes and excitement for this project more than alot of others on this forum =D

This is the best game I have ever seen in terms of development progress and overall planning, one month for non-H content and one month of it is a nice idea.

Hopefully this pace continues until v1.0 cause I fucking love Saria (And this dev....'s progress)

In Karryn's Prison, you could quickly unlock sex skills and use them in battle. In SR, you can only lose battles to see H-content so far. I hope that a better corruption system will be added here. So that Saria can seduce enemies immediately.

SR is very promising so far, but so far KP is a leader in sexbattle. In SR there are actually only defeat scenes and 2 boss scenes. In KP there was a hentai scene in battle for every enemy from the very beginning.

In SR there are already enemies to whom there is no Hentaicontent yet, such as the Troll. So unfortunately you can not exclude that SR is one of the games whose developers only want to enrich themselves with the expectations of the fans and only add a little content in long periods of time, so that the game does not become a abandoned.

You're comparing apples and oranges on that part.

Karryn's Prison started out with only a few basic scenes, roughly the same quantity as SR. They had one floor with mostly unworking edicts and a handjob, blowjob and missionary position. Most of the corruption did not work anything like the more refined mechanic it represents now, and there was one karryn-initiated H skill that actually functioned correctly and had a CG.
But even more so, you are comparing a studio of experienced developers who had already made a mark and a large amount of funding in other products such as Melty's Quest, to Velminth. This is like comparing an established studio to an indie developer.

While your opinion is clearly right in your mind, to all promising devs reading this, this is the kind of people you ignore alongside the "pregnancy when?!?!" fetish requesters. The people who complain about a game releasing in an early state, with a clear roadmap, and transparent expectations saying plainly "this is not my full time job, this will be done at my pace but it will be done, and the demos are all free", and complaining because it's not a free v1.0 game with 100 unique CGs already.
Would you have preferred Velminth kept this under wraps and waited until the end of this year to release with extra content? Then just ignore the game for now, and come back personally in a year where it is in the finished state your refined tastes expect. Alot of us are happy for the early access, and can comprehend that a game released early will be missing things, which your comments seem to be unrealistically expecting. So far they have detailed a roadmap, been nothing but clear on their intentions and workload, and followed through on every promised development deadline to date without any delays or excuses. This is the dev behaviour to be commended, not compared to other scummy developers out there because their game has more CGs.

With free demos, every update being significant and noticeably improved to the last, and a $1 patreon tier essentially giving access to everything. I hope you aren't ignorant enough to think they are "enriching themselves" like other devs on here who pump out barely significant updates such as new water reflection physics nobody asked for to their $10, $20 and $50 tier patrons.

Honestly loving this game. The art is nice, the gameplay is pretty decent (can't ask for more since it's a fap game), and the corruption is intriguing enough to make you want to keep playing to get to the next scene. It's also nice to see it updated often, especially when tons of other games quickly become abandoned or go months without any update.

Rarely do I see projects I want to support but this is one of 'em. Will definitely chip in. Good job, dev!
