I think it's funny that I left this thread since version 7 I think, thinking "I will let this game be worked on, so that when I come back I'll have a better game with more content to play", so I stopped today to read the most recent comments and I saw "this game is rubbish and the author abandoned it" and I thought "damn it looks like my idea didn't work"

This guy is why I haven't supported any projects. I've thought about it a couple times but watching this go from a great project to a dumpster fire each far worse than the last two to three times made me consider only purchasing COMPLETED games. Dude literally ruined any interest for me for patreon and the like for anyone.

Velminth's actions and attitude are unjustifiable. I think he needs to calm down and have a good talk with the community, because if he keeps acting like this, he's only going to hurt himself.
It would be much better if he decided to focus on one game and make sure that these bait-and-switch actions don't happen again, because right now he looks like a reincarnation of the creative process itself. And an ass, too.
You are right in general, but you can't apply this approach to porn game industry - it's way to small. I have to quote this conversation and this one (dead game not recommended) again, sigh.
It doesn't look like Velminth was ever able to do this full-time, by the way. So it's a hobby.

Wow, this seems to be as much as a dumpster fire as the FF one. It's too bad, I noticed this game a while ago and was waiting until there were more development until I started looking closer. Is it completely abandoned now? Is it worth giving this version a whirl?

Use the version 15 one (before the VN remake) for all of the contents since version 16, aka the VN remake, got rid almost all of them

Because he can. Legit, that was his excuse for remaking the game into a VN. He didn't bother telling anybody about it, just went ahead with the remake, then just dropped it onto us. Want to know the hilarious part? A lot of us tried it, didn't like it, gave him our opinion (nice and bad way), but did he listen? Noooooo, he just became a little bitch and started whining about all the criticism on his new 'Vision' while banning everybody who criticised him.

Unfortunately, doesn't surprise me. I've seen other hentai game developers have weird and unproductive power complexes and/or delusions of grandeur before.
I mean, if he wasn't receiving monthly funding by patreons under a specific premise, he could do whatever he wanted. He'd probably lose money but that's his problem. My biggest issue is when a developer is receiving money for something and then goes haywire. People are paying money for a specific product, they're not donations.

Great takes. This people are getting way too comfortable with changing the game main points and abandoning it and start a new project. There should be a punishment to do so. Like Patreon charging the scum dev some money if they want to continue posting BS excuse to stop working in the game in patreon.
I truly like the game mechanism now but rn its so lacking about how the game is supposed to be play. I hate this type of defeat scene but no in fighting scene.
And right here, you hit the nail on it's head. There seems to be no accountability besides the court of public opinion if a dev decides to change a game partway, not fulfil expectations, etc. And if the developer is dead set on removing/banning comments pointing this out (there are some major examples that come to mind), there is virtually no way to warn new subscribers besides venting on dumpster fires like f95. It's actually a serious problem as it makes way for developers to do whatever they want.
