There are some Modders , like the guy from the REMAKE VERSION and VERMINTER who are trying to adjust the Unfinished game and insert some new stuff. But it´s a still Early Project I believe if some people visited their Fan Projects and thought about give some help, the game could be easly continued I think. Not in a Perfect way but with a sattisfatory result, using AI Arts mechanics and adjust some bugs, keeping the Game Core System.

I am afraid that this may be prevented by the F95 rules. You can type "Saria Reclaimed" in the F95 search and there you will find main game, remake and a mod.

I know,right? What makes this even more strange thing, that after he abandoned Saria reclaimed (frozen it), he start to create new game with same battle-fuck concept - Cogito Line.

Cogito Line was actually just a fairly basic RPG with survival mechanics, the only sex scenes in it and planned for it was through interacting with specific few NPC ladies.

Coming back to this game after not playing since the "normal RPG" version, I gotta say, the card game concept is very unique, but I really feel like it's trying to be a knockoff of Library of Ruina's combat system. I mean, obviously not exactly the same, but the similarities are there.

The thing about that sort of battle system, or about really any alternative battle system, is that you have to build the game around that from the start. You can't just switch battle systems from a standard RPG with a skill tree, to a card battling system with cards obtained from defeated enemies, without screwing up your balancing and gameplay. Especially with 1 base energy, which, sure, makes sense with the original turn based system, but no other similar card system I know starts you off with 1 energy per turn. And then they switch it up to a SECOND new system with, like, stances and weaknesses and... domination??? and there isn't a map anymore??? That really just defeats the entire purpose of this sort of "pleasure corruption"-style game.

...What in the world are you 2 yapping about? Seriously, are you 2 newcomers or something since you're acting as if Vel was innocent. Let me burst your bubble by saying he's not. He didn't give any word that he would remake the game for the second time, when his supporters showed their dislike on the game, he threw a tantrum and banned everybody who disliked the remake, and he didn't keep his promises that he would finish Saria Reclaimed and there would be no more remakes. If he had handled this situation more professionally, then he wouldn't get as much hate. (I'm leaving a lot of other info because I'm too lazy to search early 2024 stuff, aka when RPG became VN)

To Shein, those "entitled idiots" were people who supported him with money and were furious that the money they thought would go to developing the RPG Saria instead of VN Saria. Like I said before, it's his game, we the people are supporters, blah blah blah fuck you, you get the point. But, keep in mind that Vel made a promise to the supporters but broke the promise when he remaked the game into VN. Not to mention that the guy threw a tantrum and banned people left and right while saying he doesn't care that people gave him money.

To Bask, I'm pretty sure most of us haters already gave up on an update and threw the game into the trash while I still come here to bash on people defending Vel during my free time. This thread was likely the harshest of all the media sites Vel visits, but even then it didn't go hard until Vel himself came into the thread and starting flinging insults because people did not like the transition to the VN format. That aside how does that excuse his behavior on patreon, itch.io, and discord full of sycophants who still got insulted and banned even while kissing his ass because they too did not like this change to the game.

Yeah I financially supported the game early on in its development. I liked the art, the setting, the gameplay. The dev showed a lot of promise and transparency, I liked his active trello board where I could see the development of the game in action, with things he was currently working on and still planning to do. The releases/updates were very on time and regular - at the beginning of the month of every. single. month.
He had a really good thing going. I am still not sure why he had to pivot into card games and then a visual novel style game.
