And that's exactly my point. The narrative is moving at a snail's pace, it's been 3 years and we're still only at the inception phase of any of this. The issue is that you're trying to do a slow burn narrative whilst also working at a very sporadic pace. Not every update has to be thousands of renders and dozens of animations, but when the story is just moving from a backyard into a house, from downstairs to upstairs, it's not really a fulfilling experience.
All of this ^, for instance, has no pay off. It doesn't mean anything yet, and it won't mean anything for a player for realistically another few years. That's where the frustration is coming from.
