The above link is a clip from V. 0.0.32 of "Saving Paula" that we recreated in Maya and RenderMan, after the first version was done in DAZ and iRay. Besides the animation and image quality that Maya and PRMan offer, notice Paula's clothing using Maya's nCloth.

Many of the game's images and clips were already rendered for future releases, but after we changed the pipeline and, thus, the look and feel, we had to rework poses, models, lights, and all the rest.

Once a developer loses credibility, they're left with nothing. It doesn't surprise me that most of them have already left; they'll abandon the project within a few months.
The problem is that it has such a bad reputation that it'll be difficult for it to receive support for other projects. Look at No More No Money, despite being five years old, its game is one of the longest on F95, with hours of content.
