Discord mod here. That's basically the situation:
Devs (2 guys) lost 90% of monthly income due to Patreon ban and massive hyperinflation in their home country Turkey.
That means they can't work nearly as much as they used to on the game.
Hence why there's such a massive delay and I have no idea how the future will hold

Yeah, like I said earlier thanks to the white knight reporting their Patreon and losing a massive hit on their income, it's pretty much forced them to work more vs work on the game. Can't blame them, you got to do what you got to do, not like they're out there giving false promises and shit and trying to scam people.

To be real it's kind of hard as they live in Turkey and their economic situatino keeps getting worse.
I remember them stating they had to move back to their parents in 2023 and one had to sell his car as they couldn't keep up with expenses.
Thank you for sharing that update. Hopefully things work out and the devs can transition to SS or something so they can continue working on this project. It's a really good story and the renders are gorgeous
They do have a SubscribeStar page but they're not making nearly as much as they did when they were on Patreon. Discord is also banned in Turkey so it's not easy for them to communicate with their supporters these days either.

Oh they already did that right away, but their income is only a fractoin of what they used to have.
It's always the case with SS vs Patreon
And due to the discord ban in Turkey it's not even easy for them to communicate when they weren't as frequent to begin with. I sometimes have to wait a few days for an answer if I message them

Why the fuck is a platform that gained prominence from porn star and porn star adjacent creators playing moral police? Also, why the fuck haven't devs moved away from them yet? Literally open an only fans or one of the dozen other sites you can create tiered payment plans. Patreon out here doing way too much.

Moving away from that Platform is expansive. Patreon is where "the money" is. It's users (Patreons) trust them, you can support Developers, artists etc. from various common Payment processors on their site.
Subscribestar for example uses only creditcard (afaik). It is really hard to "convert" your supporters from one to another supporting Platform without loosing them.
That shortens your userbase dramatically.

It was Paypal, or SS/every other site would be having the same issues.
There have been numerous statements from Mastercard, AMEX, that it was not them making a fuss over porn.

Not to mention the fact that Subscribestar has the same rules (just less enforced) and can have a crazy long wait time before verifying a dev's account. I've seen dev's who've waited for over half a year to get their account approved.

See a bit above, I have explained the issue. They're actually working with what they have atm, mostly fixing some issues from previous versions as those tasks don't take nearly as much time and ressources as creting new stuff.
The main goal is to finish the game and then start a new one. With the deteorating situation we're in the focus will shift to one of the two possibilities. I can't say more more, don't know what they are planning.
