The author knows exactly what kind of fantasies he is stroking, and what his fanbase really wants, but uses ha-ha humor to avoid delivering. There was a ha-ha jokes about rape, abduction, bondage, mindcontrol and dubcon incest orgy. But no actual content of that variety - cause, its not that kind of game and "too dark". Even if slavery is somehow ok.
You don't joke and hint at darker themes in slice of life, if you dont intend to deliver, much like, you dont call your porn title "glorious anal domination" if it has no domination, or anal, or smug laughter of the male lead.
I like the humor, but the game really needs some actual meat, instead of simple teasing.

P.s The game broke for me after I bought Hot springs. For some reason it showed previously bought apartment instead, and now I'm stuck on two quests who's conditions dont trigger.

So this is basically a slave domination game somehow turned into vanilla simp simulator? I mean congratulations, you bought out your landlady, as a reward you can help her do house chores. Oh and your roommate too, she is now your slave as well, you can now help her with homework so maybe you can grind some affection. WTF?

I've updated my 'Show MC Stats and Lessen Grind' mod to 0.1.7b.

What my mod does is:

1) Add 'You' to the Relationships window, so that you can view your stats.

2) Essentially double the stat and affection rewards when interacting with certain characters (i.e. by 2 instead of 1), as well as increase monetary rewards in a similar manner.
Note that for relationship gains, if the relationship level is raised to an odd number, it will be decreased by 1 to the next even number. This is just in case an affection level should increase from 9 to 11, hence bypassing the event trigger...

3) Increase the odds of certain events that are triggered randomly occurring via the luck stat, so that it's less of a crap shoot waiting for these events to show up. These events are now firing off in sequence rather quickly, let me know if you think I should drop the frequency a bit, or if you like it as is.

4) Added code that will reduce various stats to their maximum levels, should they somehow end up exceeding those values.
Example: If the strength is increased over 50 via stat gains and such, it will be reduced to 50 instead.

The 'goal' of this mod is to increase the enjoyment of this story, for those that aren't interested in grind... If you prefer the grind, this is NOT the mod for you!

Of course, have a backup of the game beforehand just to be safe, in case you run into issues.
I tested it with a new install with no issues.

Let me know if you should encounter any issues!

How do I install this mod?

Short form.

1) Find the folder named 'game' inside of the mod's .7z folder (extract fthe .7z folder somewhere on your hard drive but NOT IN the Scarlet Law 0.1.7b folder).

2) Open up your Scarlet Law 0.1.7b folder (where the .exe to start the game is).
If you used unren.bat to enable the console and extract the pics, back up the three files mentioned in the readme for the mod somewhere that are in the Scarlet Law 0.1.7b > game folder. These are the three .rpy files that are also in the mod's 'game' folder which you willl be replacing. If for some reason you don't like this mod, you can simply drag the backups back into the 'game' folder again later to undo the changes.

3) Drag the 'game' folder that you found inside of the mod .7z into the Scarlet Law 0.1.7b folder (or cut and paste if that's your thing). This will merge the /game folder from the mod with the /game folder inside of Scarlet Law 0.1.7b folder, and you may be asked to overwrite three files (this is expected behavior).

4) That's it. Enjoy!

Ok from what your stating tells me you have not been reading and following the story at all. He is not buying slaves to have slaves as he does not believe in the system. He is buying them to save them from being bought by others that will treat them and use them as slaves!

If you want the type of game your after THIS IS NOT IT! Go somewhere else like the brothel ones or that because this one is more about the story!

Just played through the beta. No bugs so far on my end.

The writing could have gone on a bit longer for my tastes, but was good aside from the 4th wall breaking. Glad that the dev decided to build up the existing characters more rather than add in new ones.

Sorry but i do have to agree with him on this the MC is a total simp the only Blackmail going on is against the MC, the Harem tag doesn't really apply i understand that he doesn't agree with the whole slave idea so why didn't the Dev just say no sexual content and be done with it then or have the females all futa and have them peg the MC im sure he would just drool and go along with it, the grind is just boring to be brutally honest ,raise the level to this and have the character treat you like door mat to which you just simp away and happily go along with it just change the tag to female dom and it would be far more honest. i mean you basically saved your sister from getting raped but she still treats you like something she stepped in . I don't agree with violence against women in any shape or form but some of these characters sheesh they make your blood boil.

Anyone else getting soft-locked on "Visit the store during Late Noon (Serena)" and buying the hotspring, I have a fix. While tracing through variables, I found some commented code in code01.rpy that probably should not be commented. Specifically, the only way to progress with Serena would be to progress with Altina which is impossible as she is locked to 20 affection. Uncommenting the code below (specifically, the last condition) allowed me to proceed with the main story.

If you don't know how to fix the file in question, you can download the attached file, rename to code01.rpy and drop it in the game folder. I uncommented all conditions just to be sure which unlocks two seasonal events and another Serena event.
