"Community" is not a single entity. For every person complaining in a game thread, about ntr that's not really ntr, there might be 10 who don't give a fuck and don't comment.

I do agree that an option to skip the scenes for people who don't care to see it would be good.

For most it's having to see it and not wasting renders on it. It could have been implied or even after you rescue her you find out. That would still have the same dramatic effect for the plot, but not as much drama for the player base. Same for Meat's cum-dumpster, when she talks about what has happened to her in the past was more than enough to give her backstory and "sympathy points". To each their own though, it's the dev's story to do what he wants with, but if the goal is to build up a following for the game, doing something that is known to rile up the community is not the way to go.

I dont think here is a place to talk about patrons, lost or gain, because is a pirate forum where majority of us come to play game who dont want to pay for it, and talk about, i just think about become patron but now not, is a bull**it. Few of us realy care about helping a developer with his project and talking about theme of project is pointless more helping is talking about thenicaly problem. And talk about you dont wana play this game anymore and just your ready to play is... ****, i dont think someone give a s**t about this if you want to play or not. All in all i think ned to leave the dev to make his project how as he thinks and how as he fell.

I really like this game, it's one of my favorites, but wtf with that scene xD, it's as if the mother doesn't care that the mercenary girl ""killed"" the MC, with what I can see it's as if she enjoyed it in that scene. Call me a dumb, but I don't think any mom would do that with her son's killer... I understand she does it to protect Ingrid, but wtf xD.

But after all the shit I wrote I really love this game, the update was great, but just the one thing I didn't like was that scene.

Having played the update, the scene itself is unpleasant, but I could get past it. The bigger concern I have is that there's nothing to suggest these types of scenes won't continue and potentially escalate.

Well for me just one of these scenes is enough not to play a game (and I'm not talking about NTR, it's rape, and I don't care who is the rapist and who is the victim)

Every time something like this happens in a game there is always, always, at least 1 person that says "I was going to become a patron until this scene happened" yet even if the dev goes back and removes ir or makes it optional they never become a patron.

Before I put any money into a project I always try it out to see what type of content it actually has and if it is something I am into. Compared to many on here I don't comment on games that often, and this is the first time I did not support a game I was interested in due to some content. I agree with you it will do that, but maybe not as many. I brought that up as a way that the dev could keep the "story feel" he was going for without as much impact of loss.

I agree there are people that like NTR and NTR-like content and some who don't. The problem is how it always turns into a shit show and both sides are very passionate about it. The times that it doesn't blow up is when a dev is upfront about what the game will have and then stick to it, or do NTR/non-NTR paths so both sides are happy. When it happens the way it did here, this is the usual result.

The distinction is not between the ntr and non-ntr crowd. On this site, it's usually the few people who think anything that doesn't look like vanilla harem is a ntr game and the people who don't give a shit and just want to play through a cool story that makes sense. The actual "ntr crowd" is probably busy jerking off to actual ntr games.

In the context of this game, it makes sense that a hot chick captured by a gang of vicious, horny assholes, will get "touched" at some point. It's a trope commonly used even in fiction that isn't porn so it shouldn't be shocking it's in a porn game.

That is the dev's choice to do what he/she wants. My point is that when it's like this and people don't expect it, you get what is happening in this thread. I agree this isn't and NTR issue, but on this site that seems to be a fluid thing.

Of course I could be wrong and you could be that 1% that would have been a patron if not for that one single scene .... but I doubt it. We'll never know, unless of course the dev changes it then we'll see.

Well, I always avoid rapes, I hate them. If a violation is mandatory for a game, and I must see it, I either don't download the game or delete the game as soon as I get to that point if I didn't know it existed.

Well next time you donwload a game where a core plot point involves a hot chick getting abducted by raiders, you better stop playing and move on. Villains in fiction do bad things and that includes inappropriate sexual advances (oh my). It will save you some time, bandwidth and pointless pouting in porn forums.

Nice 'taming the shrew' scene in the last update. MC must be that tinpot nobleman's worst nightmare - first killing his son, then banging his wife. Wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Not too bothered by the rest, because there was already a precedent of limited branching routes, and I'm not really that attached to any of the possible LIs at the moment, so I'll just take whatever nookie comes MC's way, and hope the story stays interesting.

Haven't checked this VN out until now. Glad I finally did.
Some of the dialogues and scenes are freaking hilarious.
I really liked the news show. That was spot on.

Sometimes the humor feels a bit over the top but most of the time
it's pure hilarious entertainment.

The story and setting have been around the block but who cares?
It's the presentation thereof that matters and the creators does
present in a really great way.

The ladies' character models look nice and the render quality is great too.
Oh and the VN got animations.

Haven't peeked under the hood yet but I guess there are a darker and lighter path.
Or a more and less violent or tyranical ones.

The english is english too. And a good amount of content too so far.

Really a great VN. Hope it will be finished. Keep it up

About those 2 oh so bad bad scenes...well I can't say to much without being snarky
and making the delicate flowers who whine about them cry but:

The creator of this VN tells a story. A story with a beginning and an ending.
To make a coherent way from the beginnig to the ending certain waypoints
have to be passed. Also a story has a build up and a climax and in order
to increase the dramatic art for the climax, dramatic things have to happen, duh!

If you want a fairytale world without anything bad happening,
consume media meant for pre and elementary school kids.

Of course you could also whine about it on some anonymous interet board
but honestly, that's the wimp thing to do.

We got a good VN here, with the right quality, the right amount of content,
actual sex happening and not in dream sequences or flash backs (), a good story
and decent english so effing enjoy it! The next cheap cashgrab is just around the corner.

Hey Guys i made a Scars of Fate Walkthrough Mod, the Mod shows hints in dialogues and points in the game Scars of Fate.

PC: Unzip the mod and put the folder named "game" from the mod in your "Scarsoffate-0.04-pc" folder.
MAC: Unzip the mod -> Right-click your "Scars of Fate" app -> Click "Show Package Contents" -> Open the "Contents" then "Resources" folders -> Hold the Option key and drag the folder named "game" from the mod to the "autorun" folder -> Click merge
