Managed to get the v4 patch to work with v4.2, but I worry that somewhere down the line, something is gonna be fucked up. Just have to hope and pray the patch gets updated

I'm getting this as well after following the installation instructions in the OP word for word. It does not mention there will be files overwritten by placing the decryption tool files in the game folder, which is what caused this for me. I tried it again with the decryption tool files inside their download folder inside the game folder and it no longer gave me this, but now I have an infinite loading screen.

It's also the only one we've got and it has been claimed to work, how I don't know because it shouldn't work.

Yeah, this is one of those games that doesn't make too much sense without the patch, it's a pain in the ass looking for 0.4c version when every website I find only has the newest version.
