Hm, I understand the confusion. The vanilla I refer to is like a one-time, swapping wife with neighbour sort of deal that is common in porn or doujins. Yes, the swinging in this game might be considered a little vanilla, but what makes it great for me is the added layer of offering services in the cafe.

Yes, swinging is meant to be harmless fun for a couple, but I was saying that with NTR in mind. NTR, at least in the Japanese doujin/adult field, is way more prevalent, mostly because it can be exaggerated more I think (which is the part of NTR I enjoy).
Often in NTR, cheating and toxic sides of the relationship float to the surface as well which is not so healthy, so the healthy relationship I'm seeing here is a breath of fresh air! Hope I clarified myself :]

There is 3 type of NTR:

Netorare: you get chucked

Netori: you steal someone's girl

Netorase: selling, swinging, or sharing your own girlfriend

I think that's because most other devs tend to update their games in larger chunks. Alex makes updates more frequently but they're fairly small.

Also, many patreons seem inactive but there's still a lot of activity on their discord servers

The people expecting this not to be an NTR focus game are truly astonishing, the premise is a cafe where the girls service them men who arrive what did you expect? Instead of bitching about your stupidity, bitch about how there has been no change to make the gameplay actually bearable yet, the concept is going to waste because the dev has literally 0 idea how to make a game fun to play. Not only is every day a pain to go through, but you then have to spend half the money you just received on buying food for the next day. I doubt anyone playing this game has actually reached the scenes without just cheating to edit the game which negates the point of playing. Just redo the gameplay from scratch and copy tried and true methods for a cafe service type game, with unlocking recipes and cheap ingredients as the progression method.
