Secret Care Cafe release notes ver 0.8.45:
- added 3 new events (2 events with Emilia, chat event and sfw event in Sergil's client tab and early main event with Sergil getting call from a friend)
- fixed Ame's lone wolf second level ability activating on first level
- fixed Ame's basic skin and bunny skin in Gallery being swapped during one of the animations on close up
- fixed some wrong animations displaying in GH room
- fixed some misaligned text in clients book
- fixed Kizuma being always unhappy during the 3rd boss fight
- fixed crashing in specific scenarios when trying to exit to title menu
- fixed few clients wrong positioning if it was before unlocking backrooms
- fixed second boss not spawning
- fixed Aruto x Ame events showing before unlocking Ame
- rewrote Goth Guy skill as it was very buggy and crash-happy
- fixed a couple of other minor bugs

I've been holding back picking that game back up until we get more "work time" interaction between girls and customers and backrooms improvement.
but all the changelogs ever show is new character events and fixes.
worktime is the gameplay part, I'd love to actually see it be the focus for at least an update so it become more enjoyable and varied instead of just being a mandatory grind to get to the events.

Somehow I like the story and the events but I truly dislike the gameplay that is actually a core function.. The gameplay is eh.. frenetic and unrewarding, especially during the "boss phase", just a slight mistake and it would mean loosing a specific event, progression is also not well done as you might actually grind to obtain a new events, and by grind i mean do chores and repeat the same events until something new won't happen. This is more a "play if you like frenetics games (and loops over it)", ye not so gratifying game, at least for me..

I'm glad I'm not the only one, whether it's the VIP room being almost a detriment since it all it does is steal customers away from the GH that actually has content or adding in outfits instead of spending that time on making genuinely new Cut-ins that would add far more value. I feel like the actual gameplay portion of the game has been kind of left to rot in favor of the heavily disconnected Events. I put my time and effort in game into my Cafe and leveling up my girls and I would prefer to be rewarded for that through gameplay, not by stopping what I'm doing to go watch an Event.
Mainly, the VIP room seriously NEEDS to have something done with it and there definitely should be a handful of cut-ins added with every update or 2 to keep the gameplay phase progressing forward. The Cafe gameplay shouldn't only exist to unlock the next Event.
I can't say for sure, but it definitely feels like the Dev got too caught up with people complaining that there is actual gameplay in their game and it's not just a lazy KK scene-viewer like your average game on this site. Which in my opinion, is what makes this game special and why I was a Patreon Supporter for well over a year and put $100+ into the games development during that period.

I do get what you mean with the gameplay part but I think most of it will be easier when we get another girl unlocked, this way we will be able to juggle more rather than just grind, part of the impatience that comes along now is probably due to the fact that we play update to update unlike a polished and finished producted so we become more susceptible to the flaw since we pass more time on the game... But it's true that the money and scene grinding can become quite repetitive after some time, perhaps adding a stock option to get some money regularly on the menu phone or anything else that help making it a bit less grindy

stock market just render the grind useless and remove the gameplay element, i wouldn't say it's the solution.
just make the gameplay more interesting, show interactions between customers and girls, like when the girls use the flirt skill and their sitting position changes, it's a small thing, but it is a step in the right direction.And i'm talking about animations, not just kiss.pnj, dynamics thing that reflect what is happening.
VIP room needs a reason to be here aswell. it's been here for ages but still serves no real purpose beside being there.
perhaps also add daily/weekly goals to achieve to obtain a small modifier on the cash at the end of the day.
ex: have 7 customer leave the cafe with a positive mood can give a 10% increase in total earning at the end of the day.

press Windows Key + R, in the box that pops up type %appdata% and press enter, it should open your user's AppData/Roaming folder, just go back one folder and go to Local instead of Roaming and it should be there.
