This is the way. As long as it's not the developer, but a third party independently providing the mod, the base game shouldn't be in violation of Patreon's rules.
It's easier said than done, though, since all of Aria's current dialogue (and all the dialogue about her) is written with her being Sergil's childhood friend, with the only hints to the scrapped sister plotline being in older story dialogues before Aria was introduced. The Aria we see just doesn't act sisterly enough for a simple word-substitution mod to make the switch convincing; it'd have to be a pretty substantial mod with major dialogue changes to really scratch that itch.

no one who can share the bugfix update? I really don't want to play a version that crashes.
Wonder if we'll ever get more costumes. Would kill for a naked apron option

Well the new version (0.8.54) is dropping soon (according to Dev that said it was gonna drop last week, and then later said it was going to drop "today" for like 3 days already) so let's see if some hero will drop it here when it is actually out
The problem is that with any new version, there will be bugs. So if nobody bothers to upload the bug fixes like happened here...well that just means don't download the "latest" version on f95. Just use the public version on itch.io for best results.

I mean, at this point isn't the game just joining the other patreon milker games? It's been on v0.8 for years now
Not really avoidable, is mostly NTR/NTS focused. But has great gameplay imo. You could avoid the scenes where the girls do anything naughty with someone besides you. It would make the game harder since you wouldn't be able to get all the upgrades or see all the scenes. But might be possible just for the MC to 'cheat'/'swing'.
I dunno, the dev just seems like a lovely guy that tries to make a porn game that is as much game as it is porn, maybe it's going a bit slow but we're still getting regular updates, for free btw, public version is like two month behind of the paid version. I don't think it's comparable to the "patreon milkers". First of all, dude is like communicating almost every day on his discord. Making good games takes time when you're a very small team.
That being said, it is true that 0.8.0 was released almost three years ago, I wonder what's the reason and what would a 0.9 version encompass.
