Must've fucked up somewhere,or auto-patching scrambled things and I should only patch manually,even if it's time consuming.
But at least the lines werent removed,that's good to hear.It's bound to solve by itself,since I'm gonna delete current version sometime and start over,maybe in 2 or 3 updates.But thx for reply anyway.

There is not really any difference between autopatch and manual patch. It also always update all script files for safety.
You might also have just passed fast on that scene.
I was going to check the scenes again for that line, but he was faster.

I think the game has more problems in other parts,mostly grammar-issues,and not expecting perfection to be honest,also I'll verify my theory soon,need to make space so I'm gonna delete SI and start from 0 to be able to play a bigger game,anyway I'm 99% sure the issue will be solved simply by restarting from chapter 1.

As for some other possible issue,the story about MC changing forms it's foggy,to say the least.I think he said he could do after 50 but his wife got killed recently,and he only changed forms after to get revenge but the story with Senka's relative was older if I remember,so he changed forms before his dragon wife was killed? but he said he couldnt during Katharine's time,but that time was before his wife was Xed,maybe there is a logic but I find it hard to see it,to say the least.I dont remember exactly the start of war,but even that doesnt add up since it started earlier before MC got involved.I think ND fucked the chronology a bit,or maybe I really havent paid attention so feel free to correct me.

Yeah, I think you don't remember the chronology right.
He couldn't shapeshift when he was 50, only when he was around 100 he started doing that.
I don't think he only started doing it after his 'wife' passed. Maybe he started doing it more frequently recently.
The story with Senka's mom was 15 yeas ago, he was 190 years old at the time.
The war only started 10 years ago.

If you see anything that goes against this, warn me. I might have fucked up somewhere.
I use a list of events by year to check the order of the events. But I might have made a mistake.

OK you may be right,but I rembered MC saying that Katharine didnt saw his humanoid form,so I assumed he couldnt do it so maybe it was way before in his earlier years.But yeah kinda weird,that would've make Katharine 1 or 2 generations older than just Senka's grandmother or great-grandmother,cant remember exactly.

But just like with the earlier issue,I dont expect a quick fix,maybe it's not even a mistake but a technical misunderstanding from too much info all over the place.Some days I'll be occupied with the 2023 Grisaia game,but after I'll be done and I'm gonna start over SI,I'll note all worthy info to try and figure it out,and share my results as well.Also I'll use terms like BP to point events historically,BP=before present time.So if an event took place 50 years before the story,it will be 50 BP-x event happened or similar.Anyway it could take up to 15th of April in a worse scenario,so no need to try anything...yet.I'll return with the results of my 'investigation'

I use MC's age to keep track of these things. Katherine is a few generations before Senka. She was born when he was 33, and died when MC was 97, so she didn't get to see him shapeshift.

A few more details about stuff from the past were seen in the special scenes.

Ok im kinda dumb, but to be fair, VN devs do delete default functionality sometimes just to be annoying I guess.
Also those tabs are kinda hard to notice.

I will add something to try and make the tabs easier to notice. A red bar between options should do the trick. But it's a good thing someone already showed it to you.
I separated it into tabs to help with accessibility functions. Blind players had issues finding the audio settings as they had to scroll down the page first.

Need to postpone my investigation until May.While I did most of the other tasks and my usual end-of-the-season depression will vanish as the new season starts,2 things made me stop and freeze any plans regarding SI.1st,I'll be forced to take a long break,somewhere until after Easter,and 2nd-an annoying bug or error prevents me to progress at my other important game,and while I saw the pictures I'm curious about the dialogues and situations,so other headache,probably unsolvable but I'll try at least.And in the worst scenario,might even quit completely on any extra plans.This month will be mostly of annoyance and frustration,so I'll try to get through somehow.

edit:solved the game issue but my long break is unavoidable.My next reply should come around last days of April up to first days of May,after I'll collect the necessary info.

So, after finding out about the existence of 'special scenes' and downloading them from Discord, it seems I've only unlocked scenes 2 and 3 ingame. Can anybody tell me at what point we were to unlock the first scene?
I'm playing with the walkthrough mod and generally felt like I had made the 'better' choices as far as choices even could objectively be considered better/worse. So I'm really surprised I obviously missed out on that one.

The scenes are not unlocked in order. Special 2 and 3 are unlocked on chapter 3.
The second scene from chapter 7 unlocks special 1. The one MC talks about his 'late wife'. i don't think it is possible to miss this scene.

The mod I usually use to eliminate the textbox darkness does not work for this game. Is there another mod out there that will fade or eliminate the dark textbox? It is quite annoying and blocks a lot of the picture.

So i played 12.4 and 12.8 seems to end before the end of 12.4 is that the intent here. Only ask because I still have 12.4 installed on a different hard drive and there is a clear difference on where the end since 12.4 had the new elf in it.

So, I made a small mistake when releasing 12.4, I ended up releasing more than I was supposed to. Some people ended playing the whole chapter 13. But I quickly fixed it. It was supposed to end when you drove Ada back to the school after the battle.
I just released 0.13, so everyone should be caught up to the content now.

I know I answered on Discord, but in case anyone else has the same question.
