badbod maybe the walkthrough could have hints for choices like this? E.g. "Accept the ride" -> "Accept the ride (earlier Sarah content)" "Decline the ride" -> "Decline the ride (earlier Mary content)"
badbod Have you concidered cancelling the choice at the very beggining between Mary and Sarah? I think the vast majority of players would pick to go with sarah, and the merge between the stories in the last updates is really smooth. What do you think?

You think the vast majority of players would pick one route, so you suggest to the dev he might want to remove the other route. Purely by dint of there being a choice, many players will pick the other route. Many will pick both and have two (or more) saves. Some players might not like Sarah, so will automatically pick the choice that allows them to part company with her at the earliest opportunity. Ultimately though, there's just no reason to get rid of one of the paths. You can't even say that it's caused a load of extra work for the dev, because he's still churning out content rather than being held back by this deciosn, and any extra work put in earlier for this will be paid back later when the scenes are already there ready to be used once the paths converge (as seen with Mary being introduced on the "Sarah route" in the last update).
Plus "cancelling" the choice would cause issues for all the players who already have taken the "other" option.

Nah I like how it is right now, the merge between the stories was cool but I like how things are progressing in the Mary route.
