Man, a bunch of wrong names in this update, gets confusing trying to figure out who's actually saying what...

I'm have the same issue with this game as several others on the same play design, getting fed up with not knowing what to do. Even the WIKI is tedious endless clicking and too many ads just to find a bit of maybe useful information. One inconsequential event could costs weeks of stagnant game time. This is RenPy with a mandatory path, why hasn't it been modded? Maybe I'll drop a request.

You need an active player base for mods. Why do a lot of work for no one.

Getting around the wiki is definitely clumsy, but ads are a why are you not using adblock problem.

Because sometimes it blocks things you actually need. There are ads here, but they don't harass you. Not a good way to attract users.

I don't think it's been a month since the "Talk to your AI sexbot" message that kept appearing at the top of the page, pushing an ad as an announcement. Not harassing me my ass. Thank god for being able to block it with adblock.

I was wondering wether I am doing something wrong, I used the universal mod URM cause the grinding required was making me crazy and I changed the lust (100+) and affection (1000+) values.
Yet I still have trouble triggering events like "Three Smiling Faces".
When I check the choices available there are conditions like the booleans "cei50_done".
What do these booleans represent and could these be the problem?

Those are event variables, they hide or show the button based on you seeing certain events.

I've run into a problem where the "skipping" message in the upper left corner won't go away. I can still skip and do everything else like normal, but the message always stays afterward. It wouldn't be a problem to just ignore it, but this also keeps the quick menu at the bottom of the screen from appearing, and for this reason I would like to fix it if possible. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

Skipping works for me the same it works in every other VN. Skipping remains after a choice like every other VN, and I usually roll back once and manually advance to shut off skip. Though tapping ctrl should work too.

In my case, it seems to be a UI issue rather than an actual issue with the skip mechanic. I can use skip like normal, it will stay on while I hold CTRL and stop when I let up, and TAB works like normal, it's just the indicator that stays on. Kind of like if your car's temperature light stayed on all the time even when the engine wasn't too hot. It is only a problem for me because I lose the quick menu along with the indicator staying on.

Also, I can start a new game or load a much older save and the problem isn't there, so it is somehow tied to the save. Unfortunately, the last save where it doesn't happen is quite a long way back.

Incase there's someone here like me who was softlocked, 0.36 just patched hisaaki's affection being too low to see the event that otherwise stops you from seeing hisaaki and grinding enough affection.


If your affection is 134 or lower, and you've seen the hisaaki event where he stops talking to you, and you haven't seen the event where he talks to Kimiko, it's set to 135 in the next morning you have, and then you see the event next monday morning

bro fuck this devs whole ass. idk what the fuck i have to do to make the game progress but my ass is almost on day ONE THOUSAND and i cant figure out how to progress. i even changed my affection and lust with URM but nowhere i go triggers the next story beat. idk if the base game is broken or urm isnt updating variables like it says it is, but who the fuck thought it was a good idea for the game to play like this in the first place? also the wiki is useless because i dont know what events ive actually done because theyre not named in the game like they are in the wiki. im going crazy here.

They are though. You'll have to find the next main event you haven't unlocked, look up the name on the wiki, then work backward from there to find out what you're hung up on.

Some events need you to check a certain location on a specific day
and some of them are hidden inside the "Call someone" menu. At some point you should pick an option, and if you get a generic event text you should roll back (though in the call someone menu you need to click a few times after picking their name)

It is rough though.
