Yes that's the bit with this game that has started to jar. I don't think it needs to have so many repeats. Plus the continuity of off as one part of the games says she can't use her emails because no internet and then in another when asked by her mum what she's been doing she says she has only got her game player out when unpacking and been playing that!! It's a promising game but on that basis needs some tidying up.
How did you get that to trigger? I met her alone at the park and talked with her by phone afterwards but can't meet her at the clothing store. i can only see that she's there shopping but can't interact with her.
This is all I get on Sunday afternoon. She's never there in the evening.

Yes, I did this, but she's still not there. Maybe I have to keep playing for a few more weeks.
Drop the "CHAR_Val.rpy" file into the "SecretsoftheFamily-VER.0.2.8.6-pc\game\characters" folder,
and
Drop the "clothingactions.rpy" file into the "SecretsoftheFamily-VER.0.2.8.6-pc\game\StageTwo\Actions" folder,
Edit: It works now. I kept looking for her icon at the store in the map. I didn't realize I just had to click on the store even though I could tell she was there from the map. Thanks for your help!

To foloow from that then, what is the community's best guess at how complete the story is so far and a reasonable expectation of completion given the general rate of development?

Stage two is about 44% if you are playing the start of Stage two.
If using old save things can get crazy; once got to 59% but got totally lost and nothing made sense anymore.

Lesbian only games are my favorites', however after almost 12 hours over 3 days with very little sex scenes it got frustrating.
I like the characters a lot so hope the gameplay can be fixed soon to make it playable.

well if ya keep getting a repeated scene that's the hint end of the current version i now stay at 51% in part 2 while i keep getting the repeat scene with no new scene so that could be the hint of the end of current version content

you can't get 100% in part 2 yet only half of it for now since i try everything else and its only 51% for me so yeah if ya keep getting repeated scene that's the hint

How do you know what % you’ve attained? Using Unren I can see tons of images I haven’t unlocked.
This game has so much potential but is so frustrating.

i remember you can check your progress percentage on the upper right with the > icon if i not mistaken
